  1. one over to go... keerrrrist i can't cope
  2. 6. but i have issues with the choices here. Zep II is better than IV for a start
  3. i saw someone walking with the aid of ski poles on LL this morning. like srsly, wtf?
  4. 6 overs to go. another big appeal finishes off the last of my fingernails. what are the odds that the ball-tampering issue will be raised again if we squeeze out a draw?
  5. 12 to go...prior should be ok. there's a fair few chuntering saffers crowding him though
  6. 20 overs to go. so nervous i've forgotten to work. does repeatedly pressing F5 count as work?
  7. delays on the Southern line from ED seem to be backing up - 9.16 was just cancelled and the 9.21 was held between ED and PR after leaving the station.
  8. mitch hedberg's yer man: A severed foot is the ultimate stocking stuffer. I used to do drugs. I still do, but I used to, too. My friend asked me if I wanted a frozen banana, I said "No, but I want a regular banana later, so ... yeah". I'm against picketing, but I don't know how to show it. I had a parrot. The parrot talked, but it did not say "I'm hungry," so it died. I saw this wino, he was eating grapes. I was like, "Dude, you have to wait." You know, I'm sick of following my dreams, man. I'm just going to ask where they're going and hook up with 'em later. If you have dentures, don't use artificial sweetener, cause you'll get a fake cavity. etc
  9. just moved into a place on upland road at the plough end, we've got a trio of goldfinches and a couple of great tits as regular visitors. what's the recommended winter food for bird feeders? fat? peanuts? seed?

kerrrrist. sounds bad - what was it all about?
  11. classy. that your missus?
  12. fact: hovering above the toilet in a sitting position is known as "a johnny wilkinson" fact: most german men sit to urinate. i met a german man once and he told me.
  13. question: not having been to an EDF drinks night before (and unable to make the 4th's) who out of the regular forumoids is most disappointingly removed from how their personas come across online? am thinking that most of you are probably nerdy looking and yellow from lack of sunlight, whilst i am a strapping 6 foot with tanned chiselled features and a muscular frame.
  14. we've just had our wedding books printed by photobox. they're pretty good - quality was great and the design stage is pretty simple and easy to use online. i've heard that blurb's books are slightly better quality, but their design stage is more aimed at the pro - you have to design the actual layout (including the fiddly part of lining up images etc) of yr book. time consuming but prob more use in the long run.
  15. morris dancing?
  16. i came home the other night to find a bunch of con-artists from westminster nicking me shiny new chopping board. i was too busy watching the hoodies.

  21. don't think it is a halfway house - not with a large multicoloured playground in the garden. ...unless there are some particuarly troubled toddlers around.
  22. in times of trouble, we need some sort of vigilante signalling device. do you think the caped-crusader's catchment area includes se22?
  23. singe fact: le singe e dans l'arbre
  24. amusing idea: people 'commuting' to dulwich to commit crimes - perhaps reading the telegraph, with a latte on, complaining about the lateness of trains etc.
  25. there's a notable lack of wilderbeest in e dulwich, though i'm gnu to the area and might not have found them yet.
