As a parent whose children attend HA primary at present I would have serious doubts about their ability to open a school in promised times. One primary burnt down Easter 2010 and there is still have no clear idea when this is to be reopened (currently rumoured to be around Easter 2015). The free school yet to be built despite assurances this was to be completed by Sept 2014. The federation is so large and expansive parents concerns are entirely lost in the machine. -
so my steam generator iron just blew up. Does anyone know if it is the sort of thing that can be reapired or if i need to buy a new one? thanks

mid sleepers and high sleepers - from what age?

my son moved into bunk beds (top bunk) at 4.5 and I've never had any problems -
I called Terry this week for a variety of odd jobs that I lack the skill to do myself. He was punctual, efficient, tidy and his rates were extremely fair and reasonable. I would not hesitate to call him again and to recommend him to others.

thanks for the suggestions. I find a tablet a bit heavy to read comfortably holding it in one hand. They're also a bit big for carrying out and about on the bus etc. I think I am settled on a dedicated ereader, just stuck on the decision about which one to buy.

I'm looking for some advice/suggestions. Was going to buy a Kindle, then made the mistake of having a look at the others on offer. I am now being drawn more to the Kobo or the Sony ereader. Reason being that you can only use Amazon to buy books for Kindles, whereas with the others you can use libraries and other booksellers. (I think that's right) But with the Kindle being by far the most popular I wonder whether I am missing something and I should stick with them. So, can anyone offer any ideas to sway me either way? thanks

the cereal bars are awful. To me they don't taste at all like marmite. I agree the champagne version was terrible, the original's the best, in the jar of course. looking forward to trying the XO though..

another long shot I know, but will ask anyway. Did anyone by chance pick up a blue Barts hat in or around Sainsbury's late on Saturday afternoon? It's navy, has earflaps and a mixed blue pom pom on top. Its the only hat my son will wear, hence the post. Fingers crossed, thanks
