This review was written by my mum, who gave just as glowing updates to me while the work was being completed! I organised the work through this section on the EDF. If you are looking for a first class DIY Handyman I cannot recommend Matthew highly enough. Although a carpenter by trade he is multi-skilled and can turn his hand to any DIY job he is given. He works to a high standard and is very conscientious. He has a positive, helpful attitude and is thorough. We used him to do some repair work for a flat in Peckham before putting it on the market and he did a wonderful job repairing decking, re-plastering a section of wall, doing various other renovations and decorating, fixing a leaking u-bend under the sink and helping shift heavy furniture down the stairs and all with enthusiasm. Hi there, I am looking for a handyman for 2 - 3 hours work this Friday (8th June). Address is in Peckham. Will pay ?25/hour. The work involves plastering over a (now dry) damp spot and then repainting; repainting some dark spots around the flat; fixing down some broken wooden slats; and a few other odd jobs. I was walking along Lordship lane today when I fainted and hit my head on the ground (I am okay now if slightly concussed!). One lady managed to grab my rucksack and stop me hitting the ground so hard. Someone else rushed to get me a cup of water from a cafe, a passing nurse also stopped and checked I was okay and finally another very kind lady drove me home. I just wanted to say I felt so touched and if any of them are reading this then thank you so much, it makes me very happy to know I live in such a caring and nice area :-)
