I wish you every success in putting The Sea Cow back on track. I hope you're also able to pull back the loyalty of the customers that have been disappointed over the last year - me included. When TSC was being well run, the quality of ingredients, cooking and service was fantastic, but over the last 18 months it's been a lottery. I've had some good meals and some truly throwaway meals in that time, to the point that the last straw came in Oct last year. Small piece of fish swimming in oil and staff that seemed disinterested. Having met and spoken to you I was surprised that things had gotten so bad. Thought maybe you'd moved on. Reading what you've said above is good news. I'm looking forward to returning and I hope that TSC can once again be a consistently brilliant F&C shop and another good reason for living in East Dulwich. Cheers.

So am I now. Perhaps her husband. Is that the chap with the moustache?
Gonna get mullered for this but Claire and Mel at DVR Estate Agents - local and independent (runs for cover).

Thanks for correcting me Sean. I'll say hello Nisha next time I'm in there.
I'd like to also add Franklins to the list. I don't frequent it enough these days but it is a gem.

I enjoy gaming but I'm definitely "outgeeked" in here. No wonder you guys shy away from the sunlight!

Also try Panino d'Oro in Dulwich Village. Had some today at my mums, delicious with Lavazza Espresso.

Urban Junkies optimistically described ED as the new Westbourne Grove.

Nisha in Vals Grocers opp the Library for incredibly cheerful service.
The Vegetable Samosa's they sell in Cheese Block and the gateway to cheese heaven (off limits to me this month).
The Plough pub landlord and staff for making the effort.
Jacks, my favourite cafe in ED especially the Swedish meatballs and beetroot baguette.
Dulwich DIY, always seem to know what you want even if you don't know what it's called.
Emily's fish and chips, might not be the best when Sea Cow is on form, but they are the best value in ED and mega friendly.
Libretto's butchers (border of ED on Woodvale) everything I know about quality meat is thanks to Kim.
Controversially, Sainsburys. I might no buy all my grocery's there but it is close, handy and a good place to bump into other forumites!
Edited to correct name
