Yes, I was chatting to one of the police in the park.

I have just been informed that the body is that of an elderly man, who has been lying in the woods for approx. 10 days. He was found by a dog walker and her Alsatian this morning. The man had no ID on him, only a key. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family and friends at this sad time.

A body has been found in a wooded area Peckham Rye Park this morning. The area has been cordoned off and police & forenscis are there at the moment. That is all I know at this time.
