Wow ?8 is steep. But it is nice, are the toys clean, is it in a place where you think 'oh I could live here its so comfy and nice'? I would pay for that.

Arh but I know little Saff and she is a bit older than Scarlett (warm shoes and 'shhhh' ring a bell?). This is me being super organised for a Feb birthday, its just after we get back from 2 months away and I know I will be too jet lagged to organize anything. xx

I need to find a venue for my little ones birthday, she will be 2 in Feb. So somewhere inside, warm, with either cafe or kitchen facilities. And enough room for about 30 to 40 people including little ones, to eat/drink/run! All ideas very welcome!!

Hi I would suggest going to a sling meet, they meet at the Horniman every now and then, organised through facebook. There are other sling libraries around, perhaps someone else can fill in the details there?? A locally made and reasonably priced option would be a Sleepy Nico www.sleepynico.com. Baby Bjorns are not great if you are serious about carrying... for your back or for the baby, this sling becomes what is known as a crotch dangler, no good for developing spines, you miss out on direct body contact... and much more. I can recommend the Sleepy Nico http://www.sleepynico.com/ I started out with a Hugabub, brilliant for a new born, used until my daughter got too heavy at about 3 months. We then (unfortunatly) had a Baby Bjorn which we were given, until that was sending me to the chiropractor. I then did my research, eager to contintue the in-arms phase and discovered this great site which tells you all about baby anatomie http://didymos.com/index.php?s=sah&t=babys anatomie and much more... I decided on the Sleepy Nico because its easy to click on, my daughter can go on the front or back (more the back now that she is 13 months old), seat support for my daughter from knee to knee, back support for me with lumbar strap and shoulder straps, can breast feed easily if carrying on front... worth every penny and I wish I had had this sling from the start.
