After searching high and low for someone to do this job, I would like to recommend Ken O' Flynn (local carpenter) who has recently done a loft hatch conversion for us, installed a pull down wooden ladder and put in loft panels to create much needed storage space. He did a fantastic job and was very efficient and professional. It was also done at a very reasonable cost. He is very highly rated on mybuilder.com and his mobile is 07790 550721.

I have recently used David Mitchel picture framers in Brockley. I was amazed at how much cheaper they were there compared to other places. If you don't mind travelling a bit (!) they could be a good option..

Does anyone know if there are any baby clubs for the Dad's to be to join?! My husband and I are expecting our first baby towards the end of January. We are going to join NCT. It seems that there are quite a few clubs for the mums but not really any for the expectant Dad's! He is freelance and most of his friends who have had babies have moved abroad, so I wondered if there might be a pub group for first time Dad's or meet ups planned? If not perhaps he should start one! It would be great to hear your thoughts.. Thanks! Leah

I would also like to recommend Billy. He has just today replaced our old rusty radiator with a heated crome towel rail in our bathroom. He was fantastic and extremely helpful, also showing me how to bleed the radiators and check the pressure of the boiler. It looks like a new bathroom in there! I would highly recommend him.

Hi there, I am looking to convert our loft hatch so that we can use it as much needed storage space ahead of our baby arriving in January. We are looking to have a ladder fitted that pulls down and also loft panels put in to take the weight of anything we might put up there. Can anyone recommend a good company that could do this?
