  1. Just posting in case this has been taken in error - my sister in law parked my black double Phil & Teds buggy in the private bin area outside her flat on the corner or Whateley & Ulverscroft road half an hour ago and it's now gone. I know it was in the bin area so may have appeared to be fair game, but she lives in a first floor flat and had run inside with my toddler who is potty training so just hadn't had time to dismantle it and take it upstairs. If anyone saw it being taken or has taken it in error thinking it was not needed, please do get in touch. Its a pretty essential daily piece of kit with my 3 kids, who are 5, 2 and 7 months and I'm gutted at thought of having to buy a new buggy! Thank you
  2. Another endorsement here - Steve came round on Monday to replace the washing machine seal. Ordered the replacement when I called him last week, arrived on time, completed the job super quick and sorted out another issue with my dryer. Have also previously used him for a fault on our dishwasher. Answered plenty of questions from my inquisitive 4 year old. I highly recommend him.
  3. Count me in - 6 month old still waking every 3 hours for a feed...
  4. Soft play at the National Army Museum - train from Nunhead, Peckham Rye or Denmark Hill to Victoria, then either walk from Victoria to the museum (approx 15-20 mins) or catch the 170 bus. Book tickets for the Kids Zone online - ?2.50. Can't go wrong! Bus from East Dulwich to Burgess Park to visit the 1st Place Children's Centre - they have a sensory room there that can be booked for an hour for free which is great for babies / young toddlers, a nice cafe and the park itself is brilliant
  5. I lost my silver wedding ring at the sand pit this afternoon, in the area under the long balance bar - spent a fruitless hour on hands and knees trying to locate it but no luck. I've posted a note asking if anyone has a metal detector on another page but in the unlikely event that you happen upon it while playing there, please do let me know, I'd be so grateful.
  6. I'm keen to do a baby massage class with my 2nd baby having really enjoyed it with my 1st a number of years ago. But can't seem to find any reasonably priced classes on a Weds, Thurs or Fri when son no 1 is at nursery. Ivydale Sure Start have a lovely class on a Monday - do any other Sure Start centres run courses later in the week? I know courses are available at The Vale and Push Studios but they are a bit too expensive for me to sign up to.
  7. Yes - it was definitely open earlier when I passed it, although they are keeping the front door shut to keep the cold out, you just need to push it to get in.
