We also hired Fernando to cut our hedge and found him to be friendly, punctual, polite and very hard working. I would have absolutely no problem recommending him for any gardening work you may have (although do bear in mind that he doesn't have transport so can't remove waste for you) and would book him again when the time comes.

I'm looking for someone to come and trim our front hedge (and our neighbour's hedge), plus remove a few bits of old wood and an old plant container from our garden. It's not a big hedge - just the standard kind in front of a Victorian terrace but is getting a bit wild and our neighbour's is tall and needs cutting back. Any offers/recommendations? Although I am rather loathe to pass on his details (as we'd like to keep him all to ourselves) we have just had some work done by Mark Longhurst and cannot recommend him more highly. As well as being polite and friendly and a joy to have around his quality of workmanship is excellent - we have never had better.
