And not just confined to London. There is nothing new to this, bullying/beatings/petty gangs etc sadly for some it's part of growing up in an urban environment. Sensible kids do the right thing and either give over whatever they're being mugged for or run! You just learn to keep your head down and avoid situations like those. It was and still is part of growing up - learning to 'man-up'......

  10. ^Only downer about City is limited options on flight times and higher premium for the flight. Compared to Gatwick/Standstead for eg.

Great even. Relatively speaking, given the crap on offer!! Woofpuppy is just one opinion. Of course, as is my opinion. So that's at least 50/50 ;)
  12. +1 to HAL9000 If you did want to be proactive. Simply write to them stating that that isn't your vehicle. Which of course it isn't. Technicality, but FACT :)
  13. Where's Poundstrecher? I'm bored.... **only joking** *Skins up a big spilf, relaxes.... looks for a thread about snow, buses, dogs boring/safe stuff like that*
  14. Hi Mockney, I shall not respond directly to your 'poor show' comment. Sometimes some folk just don't see eye to eye, that's all really. As you rightly point out i am a newbie. However, i am also fully aware as to how forums work. I do reserve the right to defend myself however. Hopefully this won't be necessary in future. I intend to be very nice to all. I can assure you of that.
  15. My point exactely! Why couldn't Poundstreacher just have called me that here rather than snide pms??

  17. True, but that's because i should have been in my bed 6 hours ago....!!!!!! damn you forums!!!!
  18. Phew! i can understand. Smileys were an attempt to 'lighten' up things....
  19. > > She should contact the Police. And not distract > from the OP's point. Really? How quickly will the police be able to pick up on this over posting on the forum? And surely you're not saying that the OP's is more important than a forum member being threatened?? I would gladly have my thread hijacked if it were to help someone.
