  1. Mine is also working as normal after a quick restart after the 5 minutes power outage. Even if you call them a quick restart/reboot is the first thing they will ask.
  2. I would also recommend Balfe's bikes. I took an old bike frame to them last year (frame in great condition) and they supplied all new parts I needed and fitted them for me as well. They even managed to find one part for the frame that was hard to find! - Not had any problems with the bike since :) whereas when I spoke to Edwards regards same frame the guy there did not really seem interested at all. Simon.
  3. Wonder whether that has been the cause of the flashing lights at home recently???
  4. They are even offering a way to spread the cost of the flea treatment and vaccinations which is always good and with a cat and a large dog i believe it would ease the cost when i have them because they are not cheap! Simon
  5. Got to agree with Tylertoes.I've taken my cat and dog down there today mainly for flee treatment. I saw Amber and she was realy nice and treated the dog well. The facilities down there look good and even offer the owners a drink! So yes I would be willing to pay more for that kind of service. Not sure what the lordship lane vet charged for consultantion but it must be roughly the same. In the end i believe its qaulity of service that is more important than price. Simon.
  6. Hi all, Well I've called them up today and recepionist sounds very pleasant and asked loads of questions. Am taking my cat and dog up there tomorrow (with loads of documents!!) to see what they are like. Anyone been up there yet? Regards Simon
  7. PandG, Want to add my congrats to your action group for Jennings road I walk through there everyday with my dog and have noticed the difference and it was quick! Was just wondering if your group actually caught anyone or was it the threat that solved the problem??? IMHO getting poo bags from pound shop is not really a lot and you get 300 in a box so it lasts months and in this area of ED the council's provided at least 1 bin in each street for us to put it in so we don't have to carry it too far. If memory serves me right wasn't there a link somewhere for dog DNA? I know it would be costly to start with but put fines up for the culprits and it will pay for itself???
  8. PandG, I saw these posters in Jennings Road for the first time Saturday afternoon when walking my dog and must agree Jennings Road was a dog poo heaven! Lets hope it helps.
  9. Hi There you can also ask Southwark council to pick it up for free. here is the link fill in the form and they will contact you within a couple of days.
  10. Hi James, Typical, they stop has i get fed up with it!!!! :) but will be passing that route tomorrow, will let you know. BW
  11. Was wondering if there is anything the council can do to stop workmen using the pavement to cut their matrials for use inside the house and leaving their tools outside obstructing the pavement?
  12. Mr Barber is actually helping me at the moment and he has always responded to my emails within a day or so. So another big thumbs up from me :)
  13. Hi there, Must admit I have taken my retriever away from Peckham park after a few instances of other owners not being able to control their dogs last year and now walk the streets with him, but at times that is not safe because of certain owners not having thier dogs leased! Emily hope your dog is on the mend now and back home.
