Adult classes now take place every Monday evening in East Dulwich and Sunday morning's in Dulwich Common. Irish step-dancing combined with general keep fit is a great way of burning calories and improving flexibility as well as learning a new technique. World Champion and professional dancer Deborah Whelan will now be holding adult keep fit ceili classes every Wednesday from 7pm-8pm at the Albrighton Community Centre, East Dulwich. The classes will involve a combination of basic Irish step-dancing, ceili dancing as well as general keep fit drills. This is a workout and a half! No previous experience is required. Deborah achieved the title of World Champion in 2002 followed by numerous championship titles during her competing days. She was recognised as South East London's "World Champ" before becoming the youngest member of Michael Flatley's Lord of he Dance at the age of 15.
