Hi there, Bees' Knees is taking place this Sunday 22nd January at the Centre for Wildlife Gardening. What is is? a Family Learning session for adults and children to explore the outdoors, listen to bees' stories, be creative with bees' pottery and have fun together. What time? 11am - 3pm Bring a packed lunch to have in the classroom. How old should the kids be? 5 to 12yrs old. Smaller kids are welcome if accompanied by an older sibling, but parents will need to look after them to make sure everyone has a good time. Hi all, next week i'll be running a talk on 'Growing food throughout the year' - this should be most helpful to those who are not expert food growers (yet!) but have an interest in it and would like to develop it fuhrer. You'll get a bit more into grips with how to grow delicious fresh food year around, have a chance to explore our garden and exchange ideas with fellow growers. hello, next tuesday 01 june, although i think the bulk of the group is going to turn up the following tue 08 june. Next week i might have a couple of people coming, and hopefully it'll be a nice day and we'll have plenty to do - the garden has exploded with energy and needs lots of TLC

thanks so much for your emails and suggestions - and jokes (-; i know the criteria for the club are a bit strict, but unfortunately somebody else before me developed the project and that's what i'm dealing with. In reality the gardening club is for retired people who either don't have a garden or have mobility problems, but i'm sure some exceptions can be made for younger gardeners in their 60s who feel like coming to share a couple of hours every 2 weeks.Pass the voice on to your older neighbours, friends and acquaintances though - you never know.
