  1. Oh dear, I actually used that as a humorous end to a "what will they steal next" joke the other day Hope it doesn't cost you too much to repair
  2. I really hope she is okay...the last I heard he was still pretty bad.
  3. No no plz don't...unless you bring marshmallows to toast on my burning house :o
  4. Found this article http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/standard/article-24040082-woman-battered-by-maniac-cyclist-in-random-attack.do
  5. Will note the criticism I received...hopefully will see an improvement in future posts :) Good thing about the forum is people taking the time to stand up For what is right
  6. Really wasn't meant to turn out that way Puttin the child spin on it because all parents know thu are spurious wa only meant to lighten it up whilst I found out who else had joticed
  7. Heard on the radio this morning about a lady attacked in Herne Hill Said she had serious ea injuries and a man has been arrested I couldn't find any more info in it. Not sure if it's just paranoia due to recent press or is crime really on the increase A post a couple of days ago was a woman being mugged before reaching her house after leaving east dulwich station
  8. Honestly it isn't what it seems, misjudged post. Was merely light heartededly written as I was curious as to I others have seen the recent increase I am humble enough to apologise of I caused offence last night am I am obviously not callous enough to not care
  9. Sure sure As you said "my thread" So if you don't cOntribute don't add to it Nothing else to be said to eachother I don't need you to agree with me Goodnight
  10. Lighten up and read the reason for post To ask if others have noticed the recent increase in homelessness in our local area And don't dare assume to know how a hold should be moulded, thins are to be discovered in ones own time not Forced upon them
  11. You being offended is of no concern to me...don't read what you can't see two sides of Saying a person is "down on their luck" isn't even a statement you could begin to explain because it's broader than most people could know If you read the post property you would see it was a "humorous" add in that my child speaks of them...as she does of squirrels etc Read the main message don't derive what you want from it
  12. Buddug what a pathetic way to look upon a post...nothing you say makes an impact! A child is going to be 100% curious because it is a new experience Go and use your time helping them instead of interrupting a curious thread as this is a forum about our local area and the goings on!!!!
  13. I'm glad someone else has seen, the man I have only seen asleep (until my loud girl wakes him) but the lady is very shifty looking but after a couple of hard stares she seemed to wander far enough away...I'm glad they are aware hopefully he will take the help soon
  14. I agree sweetgirl's post was stating what anyone who spends hours in their car a day will know. People have no respect or Fear of the road anymore The poor girl who died at the junction at the bottom of East Dulwich Road has taught people nothing...people still lay flowers on the post for her so it must still be in people's minds. As a driver we have to constantly watch out for anything...a bicycle, a motorbike, a pothole, being tailgated and adults/children assuming we are them and are going to stop or have the ability to stop In time Even if driving at the speed limit time it's always on the brakes side
  15. Oh dear I wasn't quite sure if this thread would get a response as I'm not sure I've ever initiated a thread before! Oh well I suppose this is a healthy debate and mums are always very passionate! I fully understand why people are sceptical about the actuality of the article but I did respect their openness as the youth gets a lot of negative press now and finding the source is of high significance to everyone as they will lead the way soon

  17. Hi, can anyone please recommend any dance groups available in east dulwich or any surrounding area for a 2year old Thank you :)
  18. As a nanny I think it is pretty appalling! I have nannied in my current job for over a year and have taken not one sick day! Despite being Ill! I feel in our job we commit so you have extra benifits to nursery and childminders. Hence why we get paid more because we commit to giving you 100% all of the time as people who employ nannies generally need complete and consistent care. I feel her priorities are lacking and if this is her approach to her job role initially she will Give you even less in commitment In the future. You should definately dismiss her appropriately and find a great nanny, there Are lots of great one out there! Hope this helps as it's from a nannies point of view. :)
  19. Yes exactly I love this group. Thanks for taking the time to respond :)
  20. Hi, does anyone know when Tiny Gym is going to be back on at Camberwell Leisure Centre or anywhere else? Thank you x
