  1. Dear Admins, We've just moved away from East Dulwich to the Acton/Ealing area, and are disappointed by the lack of a good online community forum. I don't rate actonw3.com at all, it is far below EastDulwichForum.co.uk in terms of usability. We loved eastdulwichforum.co.uk, and we found a message at ealingforum.co.uk supposedly from the EastDulwichForum admins - asking for volunteers to take on a new Ealing forum. We'd like to take on the running of a forum at that domain. The software on East Dulwich Forum is very user-friendly and efficient, can we use that? I did email the address found on ealingforum.co.uk but have had no reply. Will
  2. Hi, We're hoping to drive to Harrow today, I was wondering if anyone knows if the route is safe and reasonably fast to drive? It's mostly on the A5, but I'm a little worried about the traffic crawling along there and taking forever. Here's our planned route: http://www.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=FZo4EQMdNMz-_ykb7kT5kAN2SDFLHdPIPBZCIA%3BFbkHEwMdQOj6_yn5ByWgWBF2SDHZW-KZiU_XJA&q=se22+8ea+to+harrow&sll=51.500152,-0.126236&sspn=0.38983,1.234589&ie=UTF8&saddr=se22+8ea&daddr=harrow&ll=51.518144,-0.180588&spn=0.194838,0.617294&z=11 I tried checking the BBC travel news site, but couldn't make much sense of it. Thanks in advance Will
  3. Earlier this evening at about 7:45pm we noticed about 5 police cars and an ambulance on Peckham park - they cordoned off a whole area and took someone away in an ambulance. We spoke to a police officer and they said it was a fight - lots of boys beat someone up. He said that it was unusual for this park. We felt bad as we saw him being carried into the ambulance on a stretcher.
  4. (tu) Thank you very much for you help everyone!
  5. Hi everyone, My partner and I are thinking about getting a pet dog! But we both work full time, so would not be able to spend time with the dog during weekdays. That doesn't seem fair to the dog - I'm not sure how happy it would be. Does anyone have any tips on how to look after a dog while working full time?
  6. Hi all, We've just moved into the area. What is the best GP surgery near East Dulwich station? The NHS site suggests: * Melbourne Grove Medical Practice (6 bad reviews) * Dr Sarma ? * Dulwich Medical Centre (open weekends) * The Hambleden Clinic (2 bad reviews) * The Gardens Surgery (3 good reviews, but it's very busy) So I'm thinking Dulwich Medical Centre?
