  1. yes we got that young man with the exact same speech a minute ago on oakhurst grove, I laughed because I was just reading the thread about it before, he was pretty upset !
  2. the motorbikes only come at the end, but they do have a ghost ! it might freak out some kids !
  4. Hi, We are thinking of getting a Phil and teds second hand but I read some reviews saying it doesnt really fit "big" toddlers, so I would like to know until when you ve put your kids in. how big were they ? etc.. My daughter is almost 14 kilos she will be 28 months old when the baby is born. I don't think we'll need it often she walks very well but still likes to get in the buggy for a rest or a nap if we stay outside for a long time. Thanks for your help !
  5. same i would recommand the lady dentist above lloyds on north cross road she is absolutely amazing !

  8. ouhh yes the portable DVD player.. ! I've been looking at it for this purpose! One with 7hrs battery life, not an hr ! Thanks for our ideas, I'm sure there will be a whole lot to explore and discover but I can't avoid thinking "what if.." and "what if.." She won't be 2 yet and won't have her own seat, I'm sure we can manage to get some seats near an empty one, we've tried to book those with extra room for the legs but they wer apparently all booked out. We'll see what we an do in the check in.
  9. Hi, We have to go to Australia in a few weeks with our almost 2 years old. Last time she was 4 months old so it was all fine, she slept all the time. This time around I am pretty concerned about how to entertain her, get her to sleep, etc, for 25 hours.. Hmmm; any tips, ideas? Toys or games I should take over for the flight? I've been collecting stickers and stickers books and put away for the journey but I don't see what else could entertain her such a long time in such a small place ! Please help !
  10. Hi James and thank you for letting us know : ) What I think is that the thermometer is actually not right, as you said Peckham Pulse heats the main pool at 28?C and you are not in shock when you get in, as you do in Dulwich baths.. I suggest they change their thermometer !!
  11. yes, water is very cold, and when I asked if they would heat it up a bit more for the kids sessions, like jelly babies, they answered YES OF COURSE, and oh surprise it hasn't been heated up, grr, the kids lips basically turn blue / grey after 15mins, it takes longer in the changing room to get them ready than the time you spend in the water. One member of the staff tried again to reassure me it would get warmer whithin a few days, but let's see..
