Hi, I'm thinking of moving to Blenheim grove and was wondering about the noise from the rail tracks. Has anyone ever had a problem with it?

I'm also a new runner who's not available on Tuesdays. I've signed up to do a 10k next year, but not sure I can even do 3 miles right now! I'm free on Monday mornings and Wednesday evenings, but have been reluctant to go out running in the cold and the dark alone, so would be interested in a running buddy. I live near Peckham Rye. We can try to get up to that elusive 5 miles an hour.

Does anyone know of a quiet pub that is likely to still have seats free on a Saturday night? Anywhere between East Dulwich and Clapham would be good.

I was dumped before Christmas and am trying to get together a play list to get over the end of a five year relationship. I emphasise that this is a "getting over it list" not a "wallowing in it list". My current favourite is The Gambler -- "you gotta know when to hold 'um, know when to fold 'um" Help me people.

I met them both in the park last week - a lovely guy, if a little forgetful. The dog is 14 years old and in fantastic shape considering its age - no sores and no mange - I was giving it a lot of strokes in the park and saw nothing but an elderly dog. Next time you see them, go over for a chat and examine the dog yourself - both dog and owner are very frendly.

Buy a big bag of dried lavender from ebay/craft shop. Fill old tights/socks with it and put them everywhere - wardrobes, under beds and sofas etc. Works a treat at keeping them away.

Just realised that Wednesday is the Peckham Rye bat walk. Is the scrabble weekly?
