  1. I saw a very large pheasant in Camberwell Old Cemetery a few days ago. I?ve also seen them over the years around Greendale.
  2. I?m looking for someone local who sells items on eBay on behalf of others. I know of a company in Blackheath but wanted to check if there is someone more local who offers better fees. Many thanks!
  3. There are so many vegan options in our area. I?ve been plant based for 10 years and the offerings have really grown. Even if the restaurant at is not vegan/vegetarian I have found most have decent vegan choices. My favourite entirely vegan cafe/restaurant is Zionly Manna in Peckham indoor market. Others I enjoy are Ganapati, Taco Queen and the Begging Bowl. Also the Happy Cow website & app is very helpful especially when travelling and I?ve had excellent meals based on their users reviews. I would never have found Zionly Manna if it weren?t for Happy Cow.
  4. I?ve just seen these messages but have not been able to find the cat again.
  5. Thanks Gracie! I have never seen the cat so thought it might be lost but now you say it?s been around for awhile I feel reassured that it is being looked after.
  6. I?ve just found a Santander VISA debit card on Ashbourne Grove. If you think it?s yours please PM me.
  7. I am having a lot of trouble finding someone to repair/overhaul our original pocket doors in our Victorian house. I would be grateful for any recommendations or ideas. Many thanks!
  8. Today I have briefly seen a black and brown cat on Tarbert Road. It doesn?t look visibly injured but does not seem well (is hunched over, fur is disturbed). Please let me know if it might be yours.
  9. I live on Tarbert Road and have not received any consultation documents. I was aware of the new CPZ consultation from reading the EDF and so have completed the online questionnaire but other residents may not have. My neighbours and I regularly struggle to find parking during the working day so I?m concerned we won?t be heard if we haven?t been formally consulted.
  10. Found think my car keys may have fallen last night. If anyone has found an I would be grateful if you would PM me.
  11. They do private hire. Find their contact details on their website: http://www.dkhap.org.uk/index.php
  12. I left an iPad mini on the wall outside my house this morning. If anyone has found it I would be grateful if you could contact me.
  13. There is also a Forest School close to Streatham Common/The Rookery on Mondays from 1030. The location occasionally changes so you need to check the Facebook group Natural Childhood. Muddy Boots at Devonshire Road is on Mondays and Fridays I believe. There also used to be a forest school at Mayow Park but I'm not sure if this is still running.
  14. I know you've already changed practice but Elm Lodge Surgery on Burbage Road is very good in my opinion. I was with Melbourne Gove for 3 years and it was awful but I'm now very happy with Elm Lodge.

Does anyone have any > views of those seats? It looks like the impact shield seats used in this test were only tested up to 3 year olds. I'm not sure if there are any seats that have harness for those over 18kg and so the children must be secured using the seat belt.
  16. I second the recommendation for Christine. She gives a very effective massage.
  17. Our 6 year old is in a Recaro Monza Nova - http://en.recaro-cs.com/child-seat/recaro-monza-nova-is. This goes up to 36kg, has an impact shield up to 18kg, has isofix fittings, and has good side protection and a very good adjustable headrest. This is the seat we will get for our youngest when they move out of their rear facing seat.
  18. We've had ours for 6 years and it is one of our essential and most used pieces of kitchen equipment. We use it mainly for smoothies, ice creams and grinding nuts and occasionally use it for soup (the Thai ginger one is my favourite). Before we got it I had no idea that it would become so important but I would find it difficult to be without it now.
  19. I also like 999 Beauty. I used to go to the nail bar on Grove Vale but tried 999 beauty and now go there instead. I only have a regular mani/pedi so don't know about their other services (gel, etc).
  20. We've been to the grotto at the Museum of London and enjoyed it. If it's really the photo you are after then I'd just go to one at a local school.
  21. The postman is correct. I live locally and regularly see the owners. I hadn't realised that they've moved out until I saw your post. The house has been for sale for awhile now with various agents.
  22. I'd be grateful if you could PM me if you have found my black prescription Michael Kors glasses that were in their case.
  23. We like Ladywell Fields for the stream/river when the weather is warm. Morden Hall Park is especially lovely and my children always ask to go. Richmond Park is huge and feels like you are in the country.
  24. There is the German Kindergarten in North Dulwich - http://www.germankindergarten.co.uk/#toppage I don't know of any other outdoor nurseries in this area but am aware of ones further afield in South London if you would consider travelling.
  25. That's great and thanks for the link. I contacted the Council a few years ago about setting one up for my road (and surrounding roads) but didn't get very far so I'm pleased to see that they are now encouraging and promoting applications. I may come back to you for advice if I try to pursue it again.
