Not wishing to panic people. We are no longer in East Dulwich (kent)and are looking at private for our child. there could be a case where they might have to cap numbers even in private school due to a high birth rate for reception 2014......best to explore all options -

Some house hold insurance include legal protection. You could look at your insurance policy to see if you are covered with that in the future ?

a lot of the places do not rent out for the advertised asking price. Landlord's often accept much lower offers rather than leave a place empty.

Also know of cases where the student had been in an ofsted rated inadequate school. Susbstitute teachers etc. Very unsettled primary school experience and got accepted for grammer. There really is no telling sometimes... -

Snooze Shade - apparently it's cruel!

The problem I found with the parasols for prams is they are fiddly and time consuming to attach the pram. Then whe your walking along constantly have the re adjust the thing to keep the blocked. I bought a snooze shade about three years ago however i wonder if babies do get hot underneath them ? -

not looking to start a state vs private school debate.. however I was wondering to those with children already in private system, what other costs would have to considered with private school fees eg uniform. Music lessons
