Elliot has built and installed a new large garden/driveway gate for us. We are genuinely delighted with the result. Elliot was a pleasure to have around, very low maintenance, and the price was very reasonable. Highly recommended

James responded very quickly to a request for help, sorted out a decommissioning and tidy-up job neatly with minimum fuss and for the very reasonable fee quoted. Good to have his details for the future

Delighted with the finished work, it all looks great and is now in a manageable state for us in the future. Saied went up even further in my estimation by, at points during the work, turning up with bags of delicious allotment apples, and some petrol(!). We will certainly be engaging Saied again in the future

Saied is a joy to have around, he and Richard are midway through a project including reshaping our front garden, laying a new path, rebuilding a bed in the back, and then a good thin, tidy and re-plant. All looks great so far, looking forward to seeing the final result

I am posting an unsolicited follow up - Paul could not fully complete my job through no fault of his own, but promised to come back at a later convenient date. He has, and the final piece of work was a pain to complete, and has been done it without complaint

I had Aria over for a simple task, he dealt with it quickly, let me know throughout what he was up to, and at a reasonable cost. Nice guy - I didn?t hugely test him but would be happy to have him back for any tougher tasks

David came and sorted out our chimney stack which hadn't been dealt with properly by a previous builder. Straightforward, communicative and reasonably priced. I hope not to need his services again any time soon but wouldn't hesitate to call him if need be.

We used Nicola's services twice for our daughter (different problems each time) and it really changed our lives. She offers the seminar (which we used for our three year old when she was little and not sleeping more than two hours a time). We then had a personal consultation when our baby was born and our daughter stopped sleeping again. It was the best money we spent for a long time. On both occasions the issues resolved in three days following Nicolas advice. Other friends who also engaged Nicola had the same success. I cannot recommend her enough.

I would second this. Ray knows his stuff, has always been on top of me to provide info when needed, and is a nice guy too.

Jane - we were blessed with a furry lodger recently, and K&O Pest Control (020 8778 1557) dealt with the problem brilliantly. We got the number from the forum, I think they are based in Penge. Colin takes exactly the approach you mention, working out where they may be getting in, as well as trying to eliminate the rats themselves, and then making sure no more can follow. Very nice guy too, and a bargain for the peace of mind provided. Good luck!

Colin has just performed an amazing trick - we got him in as we think we have a mouse problem. Turns out we don't have a mouse problem. We have a rat problem. Gulp. He managed to impart this news to my wife, but still leave her feeling an awful lot more reassured about the situation than before. Thoroughly nice guy by all accounts too. Hope to be able to post a success story in the coming few weeks when he has been back for his follow-up visits (all part of the service)

Popped round to diagnose our problem and source what was needed, then promptly back again (having been scrabbling around in someone else's rather warm loft...) to finish off an incredibly reasonably priced job. A genuine pleasure to have in the house, and we won't hesitate to call on him again in the future

You should speak to Ray Coman, based on Upland Road (020 8299 1575), who also posts on this forum. I have found him to be very knowledgable and re-assuring on the same matters for which you are seeking advice

I have posted fan mail on one of Guy's threads before, and need to do it again. We had a BBQ for eight yesterday (thanks for nothing English summer), and bought a kilo of minced chuck steak for burgers, loads of sausages (the Cumberlands are among the best I have tasted) and a fantastic lump of rib-eye. At the price charged, it was all incredible value.

Got some fantastic lamb from Guy in time for a belated mother's day lunch at the weekend, looking forward to some more deliveries soon
