  1. Can anyone recommend a local reliable and reasonably priced mini cab company? We've not had much luck recently with the two that we usually use so I'm looking for a new favourite. Any suggestions welcomed. Thanks.
  2. When I was looking for a nanny in this area (SE15) I called some agencies and they said for a "London nanny" ie: some kind of childcare training and Ofsted registered (incs police check & first aid etc) it's ?10-12 per hour which the nanny gets in the hand. We then pay tax on top of that through Nannytax so it actually works at an extra ?3-4 an hour that you're paying in total. Good luck with your search.
  3. PS: I think they say you should only try it from about 36 weeks though and best to check with midwife that ok to start...
  4. Hi. My second baby was breech at all 3 scans (last summer) and I also wanted to avoid a c-section. My midwife advised moxibustion which I was initially sceptical about but it worked! I went to Dulwich Therapy Rooms but the nice lady actually suggested I try it at home myself first which I did. You can buy the little sticks and instructions for ?5 (I think). My husband did it to my feet for 15 minutes twice a day (from memory - whatever the instructions say...) and after about 4-5 days my baby turned. It's really easy if you have a patient and helpful partner and luckily my hubby was! I actually have an unused stick at home still within its date if you'd like it.....? Either way - definitely try it! Good luck!
