Garden Maintenance | Gardens by Christie
LKJ replied to Gardens by Christie's topic in Request a Tradesperson
Can't recommend Christie enough, she's great. Our garden was in desperate need of attention and she is giving it a new lease of life. If looked so much better after just one visit. She's a grafter! -
Brilliant service! Steve sorted out installation of a washer dryer in minutes after weeks of frustrating telephone calls with John Lewis fitters. Going straight to The London Spin Doctor from now on. Thanks again.

Hi Does anyone have a recommendation for a hard landscaper or a builder to quote for a redesign of a front garden? Our victorian terrace currently has wooden fence panels and is overgrown and in need of some TLC. We're thinking about having a wall with railings to replace the wooden fence but I have no idea how much we'd need to budget. The (tiled) path to the front door also needs restoring - but that might have to wait depending on cost. Anyone had a similar job done recently? Recommendations and ball park costs gratefully received. Cheers

David and Patrick replaced a faulty downpipe that was causing a wall to become very wet, reconfigured some badly installed downpipe, fixed our guttering and did some repointing to boot. Also offered some advice and were thoroughly nice guys to have around. We'll be using them again. (Thanks guys!)

Hi Hughie Deans has done a number of decorating jobs for us and they have all been brilliant. I don't think he's been mentioned on here before so I thought I'd give him a recommendation. He's painted, stripped chipboard, removed horrible picture rail, put up new picture rail, filled holes so you would never know they were there and put up coving. He's also a really nice guy. He does all sorts, including gardens and handyman stuff. We found him through a recommendation from a friend. Hugh Deans 07999 887134 He's also on Twitter here: @handyhughie

Another vote for Steve and his team! I've used Bridges removals to move flat/house three times (last time was December 2015) and it has always gone really smoothly and nothing has been broken. I recommend them to friends all the time.
