  1. It's time for the annual Carols 4ALL community carol singing at All Saints Church, Lovelace Road, SE21 8JY. This Saturday, 14 December, from 11:00am-1:00pm. Drop in any time and stay for 10 minutes or 2 hours to enjoy singing traditional carols. Everyone welcome of all ages. Bring friends, neighbours and family. Although the glorious weather makes it feel like summer has returned, it is autumn and time for the annual 4ALL Community Autumn Fair (now in its 11th year!), on Saturday, September 21st, from 2-5pm at All Saints Church, Lovelace Road, SE21. Come enjoy what is always a wonderful event celebrating community, in aid of 4ALL charity - Building Community in West Dulwich. There will be something for all ages to enjoy on the day: - games and activities for children; fire engine - the chance to buy goods from local craftspeople and hear about local businesses - stalls hosted by charities and community groups - musical performances by schools - fantastic raffle with wonderful prizes from area businesses - delicious food - BBQ, yummy cakes and teas For more information about the fair or about 4ALL, please email [email protected]. The annual 4ALL Community Autumn Fair is taking place this weekend (Saturday 23 Sept) to bring together the diverse communities of West Dulwich, West Norwood, Tulse Hill and Herne Hill, while raising money for the local charity 4ALL. This is the 9th year the Community Autumn Fair has taken place, and local residents are invited to come down, socialise with their neighbours and get in the party spirit. There will be over 50 stalls showcasing the best the local community has to offer, from local produce and presents on sale, to charities championing their causes and highlighting the incredible work they do in the area. Fair visitors will also be able to enjoy a BBQ throughout the afternoon, a jazz duo playing in the sunshine, choirs singing, as well as lots of activities for children and families, plus a penalty shoot-out organised by Fulham Football Foundation. Last year the community raised nearly ?2,000 for the local charity 4ALL, after more than 500 people came along to the Community Autumn Fair. 4ALL is a local charity that works in and around West Dulwich, promoting community engagement, running after school clubs for young people, as well as a community choir and exercise group for older people. Jenny Pick, one of the organisers of the Fair, said: ?We?re so excited to be once again putting on this important celebration of our local area. This is an incredible, diverse and thriving community with so much to offer. ?Whatever your background and wherever you are, we want you to come along to this year?s Community Autumn Fair to enjoy yourself and see what?s going on locally.? Helen Hayes, the local MP for Dulwich and West Norwood added: ?The 4ALL Autumn Fair is always a wonderful celebration of the diversity, vibrancy and strength of community in Dulwich and West Norwood. I?m look forward to this year?s fair and I hope to see many local residents there.? Read on for more info... 4ALL?s annual Community Autumn Fair is now an important part of the local calendar and a great opportunity for local organisations, charities and groups to showcase their activities to people from every part of the community. This year?s Fair, the ninth, will take place at All Saints Church and outside in Lovelace Road, West Dulwich, on Saturday 23 September from 2.00 to 5.00 pm. In 2016 well over 500 people came along, and many said how the friendly atmosphere with a lively mix of different people helped them promote their work. The cost of a stall is ?25.00. Please contact Jenny Pick at [email protected] to book a stall or for any other information - space is limited, so first come gets a stall! Please also spread the word to others who might be interested in using this as an opportunity to promote their work or business. The Fair supports 4ALL's community activities in and around West Dulwich. Among other things, 4ALL runs two successful after-school clubs for young people living on local estates and, for older people, a lively community choir and a low-cost exercise class.

School has just finished for the summer, but no doubt autumn will be here before we know it! 4ALL charity is looking for volunteers to help with two after-school clubs for children in years 4-7 ("Between the Tracks") and years 8-11 ("Between the Tracks +") who live on or near the Peabody Hill, Rosendale Road, and Lairdale Estates.
