Don't turn this into something it's not

If u read my post I said it's unfair on the majority and what it will cause for many ethnic origins due to a stupid few and also due to mindless brainless idiots in this country... I opened it for discussion I didn't condem Muslims or slate anyone I merely was discussing it and asking peoples opinions...

I agree but I'm saying it's sickening and will cause an alighty backlash and also it's so unfair on all the good Muslim people in this country because it's made them a target when did nothing wrong....

2 mins I'll put the link on here so u can see... Basically 30-35 muslim extremists during our countries official 2 mins of silence for remembrance day broke our 2 min silence by burning thousands of poppies and protesting over megaphones shouting "British soldiers burn in he'll"

I'm sorry if this offends anybody but im so offended and shocked by this act... I'm not the only one but my family lost alot of members during previous wars and the current situation... It's an absolute outrage....

And the thing is, what they have really done is started of a whole racism feud and just caused huge problems for Thier own people. There are alot of extremists and racists in this country as it is and whilst it wasn't a racist attack there will now be lots on innocent Muslims aswell as other innocent cultures affected by this due to stupid louts and gangs who don't have a brain and see anything like this as an excuse to start something just for the sake of it.... I know many Muslims are disgraced at this groups actions and I feel sorry for them because uneducated thugs will now act on this... There was a Facebook page that was started that same day which really went off.... 600,000 people had joined it globally by 12pm but was removed the next day I believe as it really did start a huge pathetic racist feud pure hatred and nastiness and if that was just online I wonder how many acted upon it in reallity.. I'm praying not many...

Wondered what other peoples views were on this and if anyone has been affected by this also?? On either side of the fence?

sorry to hear that... its awfull.... i to had mine stolen from outside my flat a few weeks ago....

it was D locked and cable locked to a concrete pillar right outside my door in a block of flats.... thing is you need a key to access the block and im on the 2nd floor so mike was not visable to any genral public so had to be someone who lived on my floor, how horrible to know ur own neigbhours would steal from you...

i suspect its the same for u too im afraid!

reality tells me u wont get it back as i wont mine.... we can only hope karma will hit these horrible people back

other than whats already been suggested you could always try a water spray froma local hardware shop he wont susspect it well not the first time lol

just have to get on with it i guess and he'll have to just get over it, theres plenty of things kids dont like doing but they have to with certain things! i know that might sound a little harsh but whats got to be done has to be done!

probs the lying on his back bathing using ur palm to wash his head will be the easiest as has already been suggested....

as for the tangletease, that the oh so lovely CATE suggested... that might be too sharp on his soft skin as he is a baby and ?10-15 would be rather alot to spend on a baby comb!

i would suggest a spray leave in conditioner and a wide soft comb from a baby shop or something similarand deffinately combing wet not dry..

They are a very good and very amenable salon I'm sure they will re do it for u for free but my suggestion would be to buy some head and shoulders and really wash ur hair alot it's makes colour fade alot and something we advise clients i'n the industry... Sadly this does happen alot with colour which is why i stick to cutting only....

A clients idea of what they want and the colour choice made don't always quite agree somewhere and redo's are a common thing i'n salons with colour, it's just one if those things sadly... Normally if u have colour history on ur hair it won't always come out the desired colour if not on virgin hair...

But if u go back I'm sure they will sort it for u they r good like that.

lol, i wasnt really complaining as such just asking if there was anything in the making anyone knew of?

it may only take 12 mins but its the regularity of the trains! sometimes 15 mins sometimes 30-40 mins......

and sadly i dont live right next to the train station! its a good 20 min journey there! thats what im talking about!

and i was reffering to getting to central which takes another 20 minsfrom LB.... i

guess im just not used to travelling an hour or more to work...

and a tube would probably get to CENTRAL in about 30 mins from ED would be great!

will they ever put one here? everyone rants how its an up and coming area yet no tube station! and its such a pain in the bum getting to central in under an hour! it's only a 12 min train journey to london bridge.... so cant they put a tube down... (td)

takes me about 30-45 mins just to get to london bridge then 21 mins on the tube to leicester square... so to get central takes about an 1 hr and 6 mins .....

i believe the busses are far quicker....

176 is in leicester square in about an hour depending on traffic

12 around about the same.... but can never say because of trafic!

can anyone reccomend areas with a tube as nice as ED and as relatively cheap to rent much with only 20 mins to get into central?

i wish they would put a tube in here at east dulwich!

the number 12 bus goes from lordship lane/ friern rd.... all the way to oxford circus...

i think if i refered to salons ive worked in on the flier id bein breach of somekind of rules and could be liable for sueing as apposed to putting it onmy web site as a history....

frierntastic: as for websites i think id have to say mine was by far the best from any competitors..... competitors doing anything at homeanyway, ive done my research thier..... ive seen many salon websites that arent as good.... i did take that all into consideration prior!

Oh and as for the comment about if it was prestigious as u say ud have no need to put it about on fliers....

I'm unknown i'n the area... So unless they have used me or seen my website they would not have a clue and I'd just be the same as any other hairdresser.... So i think it's a good idea.... And as u can see if u have looked into it... My background is probably as prestigious as u might be able to get really..... So i feel it's an important selling point.... As i said how would someone know unless they have a source to refer to

Duely noted sue, but i believe seeing someone has a prestigious background also provides a selling point... As was discussed earlier it's about the selling factors on the flier before it gets binned, hopefully it's a word which will catch someones eye as appossed to just without.... Allot i'n the area will probably think "prestigious.... This guys having a laughlets check it out and prove him wrong" just going on some the comments I've heard before on my threads,,, they will indeed see my good background and maybe take it serious, so I'm going with it for now to see what the response is like... However i do genuinely appreciate all feedback... Sadly i had to do it i'n paint and forgot that it hasn't a spell check so am ver glad i did put on here to ask opinions before putting it public as such....

So thefire it has been spell checked before going out as was my website with a fine tooth comb... So i hope it's enough...

It's only a temporary measure anyway not a huge future business venture just one to make some cash flow right now as I'm embarking on session styling right now instead of normal salon work, so it's just to keep me afloat, although i will keep doing any clients i gain if they like my work enough when I'm back to doing my normal thing...
