  3. I can well believe this given my own experience of trying to report a crime, having CCTV evidence and it being dismissed. Twice.
  4. I joined the same year and month as you. 18th September. I remember thinking how amazing the forum was back then, I met so many lovely via this forum. I do feel the forum has changed too with the originals all moving out. I never understood the appeal of EDT😆
  5. Springers on East Dulwich Grove was considered the poshest eatery back in the day. You got your meat and two vegs there and the owners were so lovely. I’ve very fond memories of Springers. I was underaged at the time but I used to frequent this place with my best friend. It was the weirdest pub going but they had a live singer who was amazing. Casablanca Tavern, 78 East Dulwich Grove.
  6. Babysitting Services Available in Dulwich and Dulwich Village I am posting on behalf of my mum, Susie, who was born and raised in Dulwich. Over the years, she has provided loving care to many local children as a nanny and foster carer. Now retired, she is offering babysitting services and comes highly recommended by local mums. Susie is DBS checked and provides excellent references. She is available for babysitting within the SE22 postcode and bordering areas, as she prefers to walk or cycle to her engagements. If you need a reliable babysitter for day or evening, please send me a private message, and I will be happy to share her contact details. Best regards.

  8. Bumping this up as I’ll be visiting my mum in Dulwich with the dog in tow and I am looking for some dog friendly places locally that serves coffee and fries please. Thank you.

  12. https://www.barclays.co.uk/branch-finder/ It’s still showing LL Surgery for me. Put in postcode SE22 8JS and it comes up with LL, Peckham, Brixton etc.
  13. Putting it out there in case you know anyone who could benefit from this.
  14. Barclays local is now at The Lordship Lane Doctor’s Surgery. 15. If anyone is looking for a great painter, Sergio did a wonderful job on my mum’s (Susie’s) exterior windows on Landells Road. He was very professional, tidy, efficient and cleaned up afterwards. After a lot of bodge jobs from other ‘professionals’, Sergio is like gold dust since he is very good at his trade. His number is 07780154067 S M Da Silva Tell him Susie recommended him.
  16. Can you post it on my East Dulwich Mums group on Facebook please? Thank you.
  17. As per the title it’s worth a watch as it’s filmed in Peckham and a trip down memory for me spotting all the pubs and Rye Lane.
  18. My 17 years old niece is looking for a part time job in ED. Does anyone know of anything locally? She worked at Meet Bernard’s in ED as well as CNCPT in Knightsbridge so has retail experience. She is available weekends and during the holidays.
  19. Still here!

He replied back to say: On the dog owner issue, they found the owner as I stuck around for an hour or so at the shop I found her at and then the owner came to collect her after the shop keeper saying that the pwner came back and left contact details etc. It was exactly as I said in that the owner had forgotten her but at least she's back with her owner now.
  21. The dog looked well, but was very dehydrated and it didn?t seems to like him according to my mum. I have asked him for an update, I?ve copied in his work colleagues, Battersea was contacted too. It?s weird that is sure. 22. No update. It?s all rather surreal as he wouldn?t let my mum look after the dog until she was collected by the dog warden or owner. He insisted on taking the dog with him.
