  1. Hiya - I'm based near Sydenham and regularly look after cats/pets in the area. I'm available through October. Do get in touch with more details of dates and location - [email protected]
  2. Are you thinking of buying a home with a partner you're not married to, sibling, friend and/or help from Mum and Dad? Or are you Mum or Dad, and thinking of helping your child onto the property ladder? Do you like free coffee? We would love to speak to you to understand how you're going about it and the challenges you're facing. We could also help to bring some clarity to your circumstances with the platform we're building (but I promise we're not trying to sell you anything!). We'll compensate you ?5 or a coffee for your time! If you fancy helping out a local start-up with some market research, please get in touch at [email protected] or drop me a DM!

  4. Trying to navigate tricky conversations about who owns what? It's time to check out MaryR. We're an ED-based start up looking for feedback on a new product we're building! MaryR is looking to give a few lucky people advanced access to our Equity Ledger, which tracks who is putting ? into a property (including the Bank of Mum and Dad!) and provides their real-time shares as a result. Know what you own, and bring clarity to the confusion. You would get totally free access to the platform for life, a guided intro with our CTO and everything would be totally confidential - all we're looking for is feedback! Drop me a message if you would be up for it. More details at the website here: www.maryr.co Ps. Admin, do delete if this is the wrong place - couldn't work out where was best!
  5. Messaging is everything in this modern media-driven world. With a background in law and experience in marketing, communications and policy development I can support you and your business to get the words right. I will work with you to understand the messages you want to get across and construct compelling, eye-catching content to use online and offline. A long time local resident with an extensive network I can also offer bespoke advice on wider communications strategies that will get your business the results you are looking for. Additionally, I am available for proof-reading, editing and coaching sessions in CV-writing and interviewing. Reasonable rates, extensive references. Send me a message to discuss how I can help.
  6. Hi - I wondered if you had any luck on this? It would be great to get some recommendations. Best, Liz
  7. I can recommend Vince - 07951 094961. He's professional, really friendly and does this sort of stuff for us all the time. We wouldn't use anyone else!
  8. Pedler's - new one in Peckham. Delicious!
  9. This thread is the BEST. Finally, I've found a community I can call home. I've conducted tests on all the mainstream supermarket brands - Lidl is certainly a strong contender with a great aroma, hearty size and good rip-ability. Points off for flakiness though. Tesco is your best option if you enjoy a crunchier crossaint. It is Sainsbury's however, that wins it for me. Consistent crossaint goodness in every bite. I look forward to branching out and testing all the named local establishments above.
  10. Interesting idea but I think, a little poorly delivered. I wonder if it is really aimed at the true collection of residents in Peckham, or if it is simply another step towards the Shoreditch-ification and white-middle-class-ification of our town. Let's think a bit further outside the box and try to find something that will unite a diverse and increasingly disparate community, rather than add to the onslaught of unreasonably priced coffee shops.
  11. I'm keen to join a local women's rugby or basketball team in East Dulwich / Peckham - does anyone know of any? Also wondered generally about what amateur women's teams we had in the area? This Girl Can and all that.
