Officers from Central South Command Unit attended the scene along with colleagues from British Transport Police to support London Fire Brigade. Currently there are no injuries reported but a number of road closures remain in place with some disruption to local roads and rail links between London Bridge and Waterloo East stations. The investigation is being coordinated by British Transport Police. Regards, Colin Wingrove Chief Superintendent BCU Commander – Central South AS – Central South Briefing note On Wednesday 17th August 2022 Police attended a property in Albert Barnes House, SE1 in relation to an arrest enquiry. As a result, the person being sought has attempted to evade Police by scaling the building. They are currently on a 6th floor balcony and refusing to come down. Police are on scene and are continuing to negotiate with the person to ensure the matter is brought to a safe conclusion however, extensive cordons remain in place which may cause disruption to the local community. AS ? Central South Briefing note ? STABBING Police were called at 10:45hrs on Friday, 17 June to reports of a fight between a group of men and a person stabbed at Andrews Walk, SE17. ? Police attended but all parties had left the scene prior to police arrival; evidence of injury was found and a crime scene was established. A search of the surrounding area was conducted but no trace of the victim was found. ? At 10:59hrs a man, aged 40s, self-presented at a south London hospital suffering from a knife injury. His injuries were deemed not life threatening or life changing. ? A man has been arrested and a crime scene remains in place. ? This was following a stabbing of a 15 year old male in the Walworth area. ? As a proactive measure to prevent and deter incidents of violence, the section 60 authority was put in place from 1800 on the 13th June and expires at 0700 on the 14th June 2022? AS ? Central South Briefing note ? Police are investigating an incident of Attempted Murder on the Kingswood Estate, SE21. ? The victims, a mother (early 50?s) and daughter (early 30?s), were assaulted at their home address by a man known to them. It is being treated as a domestic incident. ? They have both sustained serious head injuries and one of the victims remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition. ? Detectives from the Met?s Central South Command are investigating and this appears to be an isolated incident. ? At this stage one person has been arrested and enquiries are ongoing. ? She is being supported by specially trained officers. Central South Public Protection officers are leading the investigation. A crime scene remains in place. No arrests have been made at this time. AS ? Central South Briefing note Detectives investigating the rape of a woman in Southwark are appealing for witnesses. ? Shortly after 00.45hrs on Friday, 14 January, police received a report of a rape of an 18-year-old woman by two men near Peckham Rye Railway Station. ? It was reported that was walking down an alleyway off Elm Grove shortly after 22.20hrs on Thursday, 13 January, when she was approached from behind by two males who took her to Holly Grove where they raped her. ? The two males are described as wearing dark clothing. They were both wearing gloves and face coverings. ? The 18-year-old woman is being supported by specialist officers ? A crime scene has been put in place, including part of Peckham Rye Railway Station. ? There have been no arrests. ? Detective Superintendent Clair Kelland said: "There is a fast-paced investigation ongoing into this incident and a large crime scene has been put in place. "We would like to speak to anyone who was in the area of Peckham Rye Station between 10 and 11pm last night who saw anything that may assist our investigation." ?
