I need someone to come do some filling and painting asap as have been let down by painter booked for this weekend. One very small area of ceiling to be filled, sanded and painted (where new size loft hatch was installed). 3 bedrooms and the lounge to be painted. Some filling and rubbing down required too. 4 walls to be painted in bedroom one. 3 walls to be painted in bedrooms two and three. 4 walls and inside fireplace in lounge. May need to bring ladder if under 5ft 9" as quite high ceilings. Must be willing to travel to SE9 where job is located. Please send price per day if available. Hi all, I need a handyman to do some plastering around the chimney where a fireplace and surround has been taken out and a wood burner put in its place. I also need some wallpapering, filling/sanding of holes in the walls, painting plus shelves pictures and a mirror putting up. The fireplace is a major feature in the living room so the plastering must be very neat. My house is in Kidbrooke. Hi all, The builder that was suppposed to do this on Saturday has got a bug and is then booked for 3 weeks so am looking for someone with availability this weekend or early next week. Need to come to see the work to be done and provide a quote tomorrow please. Materials (sand, gravel etc and some sleepers) need to be purchased. Location is forest hill. I met this man a few weeks back and as I loooove cockatoos I couldn't resist stopping him for a chat. He's indeed very friendly and so was his bird. Apparently he takes the bird to Peckham Rye all the time as he loves being outdoors. He's had the bird for 20 years I believe, but not since it was a baby so it's a bit older than that. Very sweet :-)
