Hi, can anyone recommend a good dry cleaners in the area? I need to get my wedding suit cleaned and only know of places that specialise in these up norf London. Cheers in advance. Ben

I'd also like to recommend Andy. He recently resealed our bath, sink, around oven and fixed shower and towel rail. He did a great job and was very reasonably priced. He is reliable and trustworthy too so I would happily use him again. 07564194363

Just bear in mind Rye Lane is closed so if approaching from the rye you'll need to go round the back...

Following on from the above having called every pub in ED/Peckham Hoopers were indeed the only one showing the game and Nick the barman was very hospitable despite having to show the rugby in the main room. Top beer and a top pub, refreshing compared to the pretentiousness encountered on lordship lane etc... -
I'm aware of a couple of allotment plots locally however wondered how you go about getting yourself on the waiting list for one? I imagine the waiting list is probably years long however would still like to enquire... cheers

Providing it's not hugely serious I'd be up for this?

Muhib is a must. Quite small but tried it a few years ago (it was the only one that didn't have staff out on the street hassling every passer by) and have been many times since. Authentic food and great service. Plus it's bring your own and you get a discount in the newsagent opposite (which just about brings prices down to normal-ish) if you mention you're eating there... http://www.muhibindiancuisine.co.uk/

Me and mrs simpo just had two sicilian pizzas - absolutely top notch and complimented perfectly with fine real ale. Great atmosphere - no pretentiousness - love the place.

Thanks for the tips - with freesat presumably you only get BBC & ITV in HD?

Sky it is then by the sounds of it! Thanks for your help all. Ben

Thanks both. Do you know if you can still receive HD tv through a mini indoor aerial?

Hi - I have just moved to Peckham Rye and the flat has a sky mini dish and two connectors coming into the lounge, however no standard aerial connection. I have a TV with built in freeview HD however is there any way I can receive the free freeview HD service by connecting the TV to the Sky aerial, or is the only way round this to a) order Sky and get a box activated/connected or b) pay to get a TV aerial put on the roof and fed in. Cheers in advance! Ben
