If they don’t have it, it’s simple to make. Dissolve as much caster sugar as you can into freshly boiled water, stirring all the time. Keep going until it can’t take any more granules so it becomes slightly viscous. Leave to cool and store in an old bottle!

Hi both My girlfriend and I moved to Bellenden Road a month or so ago. We really like East Dulwich, but our journey to work is from Peckham Rye so it's great to live so close to the station. Completely agree with Chantelle about the local eateries. We also love the chocolate shop (The Melange - check it out for a thick steamy hot chocolate if you haven't done so yet), Ganapati and the Meat Wagon (which turns up from time to time at the nearby industrial estate of all places). For drinks, Bar Story and the pop-up place on top of the carpark (Franks, I think) are also good fun. Looking forward to the Warwick Gardens WingDing on Saturday week - maybe see you there ...
