  6. Fantastich. Look out folks, this night is comming soon.
  7. I am looking to host an Indie Eletro night in ED and Peckham soon. Anyone have any tips on venues or an interest in DJing for this event soon. I love all the bars on ED, but we need some kind of alternative night from Boho and Adventure bar with some funky indie tunes and sexy electro house music. Thoughts please.
  8. Wayne Rooney is at it again. Can't help thinking, he got married too early in his life. It's an allegation for now, it's not like he's done this sort of thing before, has he? (smashing the granny out of it)
  9. Fab night guys. Loved the colours and the random talk. (oh sorry wrong forum)
  10. Blairs decision to back the war and to front it with the US and present it to the U.N will never be forgotten. This August alone 500 people have died in Iraq. This is just touching the surface of the problems in Iraq and for our soilders who fought in the battle. It's a dark subject, that sadly in the end will shadow Tony's reign in the UK. No weapons were found either.
  11. He gave us hope, then we expected too much. The Iraq invasion, he will be remembered for. But I'll remember him for being a great leader for our country, when we didn't have much else going for us in terms of leadership, note our current Prime Minister is half the leader Blair was. Yea for sure, we can spend hours talking about what he did wrong, shall we? Oh Tony, we miss you. Come back.

    X Factor

X-Factor is fun and entertaining if you like that kind of thing. Where people go on sing badly, get mocked and then you have the over the top dramatization who makes, it, who doesn't, will there be a deadlock, please call this number, etc..etc..It's fun. But for me.... It's boring. Most modern pop music is just simplistic electronic beat with some talentless hack singing over it. They don't even have to sing in tune because they can fix that in the studio. What a bunch of crap. Back in the day (oh dear, did I just say that?) when all you needed was three chords and the truth. Perhaps the problem is that the truth is a little hard to find these days. Why should I reward some pop singer for doing practically nothing while there are awesome, talented artists out there that are struggling every day for recognition? How backwards is that? Given the selection of modern music for young people I'd feel cheated if I was a teen now.

    X Factor

Point taken Elvis did not write his songs. However, when Elvis came onto the scene there was nobody like him. He set a trend and influenced millions of entertainers today. He was the Ulimate front man. Sorry but whats his face Joey Mac ain't cutting it. Not even Robbie Williams standard. As for old blue eyes I'm A Fool To Want You (m-Joel Herron, w-Jack Wolf & Frank Sinatra) 1952 * Mistletoe And Holly (m/w-Dok Stanford, Hank Sanicola & Frank Sinatra) 1957 * Mr. Success (m-Edwin Greines, w-Hank Sanicola & Frank Sinatra) 1958 * Peachtree Street (m/w-Jimmy Saunders & Frank Sinatra) 1950 * Shelia (m/w-Christopher Hayward, Frank Sinatra & Robert Staver) 1950 * Take My Love (m-Joel Herron, w-Jack Wolf & Frank Sinatra) 1950 * This Love Of Mine (m/w-Sol Parker, Hank Sanicola & Frank Sinatra) 1941 Now listen up kids. Whitney Houston version of 'I will always love you' was something special, it just wasn't a normal bland cover, which you guys witness every weekend on x-factor. For sure Leona Lewis has a decent voice, but other than that, her live performances are hardly worthly of Pop star status compared to the mentioned above artist. There?s no character in her performances, no life in her voice beyond that prompted by out-of-shot puppeteers. Its songs are fine for what they are, and clear improvements on what came before. But for a multi-million selling artist, Lewis still lacks an album worthy of her international profile. Yea I get X-Factor is fun. But if you want real music, you better off searching for it, in open mic nights and checking out the music scene across the globe, where artists write their own songs and sing it like they mean it. Who needs my respect? It's my opinon, the talent on X-factor is decent, but I've seen better pub singers in my local who have more character and soul when they sing, they're just not fame hungry whores. (ouch, I didn't mean that)

  16. Before you all get Ray Winstone on me about how the UK one is much better and how the Americans forced us into war with the Middle East. I just recently discovered this show, avoiding to watch it for some time. Bored of my seinfeld dvd's, I decided to buy the box set of the US version. Oh my freaking Lord. It is so awesome. I love it I love I love it. DWIGHT is LOLZ. (and..relax) Anyone else agree? I'm on season 3 at the moment, can't wait to rampage on the rest. My winter months have been planned out. I shall be watching this over and over again. This is the funniest, smartest American television show in recent history besides Arrested Development. Not since Seinfeld has a show made me laugh so hard and smile so much. These three shows get better with each viewing and are great because there's so many levels of humor, from the apparent outrageousness to the minute details that are noticed after repeated viewings and are often funnier than the surface material.
  17. In my wild days of rock n roll drugged up sessions with bunking off during college/university days of smoking pot and drinking cider. I was in half hearted relationships, with women who I thought I had some kind of common ground with (making my excuses early here). During this time, I cheated on my gf during our 5 month relationship in my last year at college. I was caught out and felt the wrath of her and her friends disgust for me. 10 years later, I can't believe I did that but understand how it could happen. So, I am kind of glad I got it out of the way early, before entering an adult/serious relationship knowing full well, that cheating is wrong and for whatever reason I am tempted to cheat, I should end my current relationship before I embark onto a one night stand or an affair fling thing that you see on Eastenders. Anways, I have techinally cheated and I guess I've done my time for that now. Have you ever cheated or are we all decent people on here who never been tempted? Bit of a sexy subject. Is cheating just a fact of life and people get on with it. Now days you have WAGS(or slags) who stay with their unfaithful partner and forgive (maybe not forget) but do forgive. Have you forgiven? Could you? I wasn't forgiven and too right, because the next girl I met in University was a hum-dinger.
  18. I look at every person male or female as my brother and sister. All of mankind is part of our family. Some good, some bad. But none of us are perfect. We are all children of some kind of science theory thingy or a higher being creation. Either way, I feel the love and love should be shared with everyone. Of course, we all have bad days and forget this important fact. Nevermind Auntie, can I have a hug please.
  19. Each week on the radio drama should have a different theme song.
  20. Could we not have a radio drama called Lordship Lane? Airs every afternoon before drive time.
  21. We need someone to do the sports show every Saturday from 3pm - 6pm. Spinning the hits as the goals go in and of course have the Dulwich 606 show.
  22. Indeed Mockery. Watching Seaman being lobbed was one of my wifes favorite past times. (She supports Spurs)
