  1. He's back! Earlier now - kicking off at 11pm-12ish. And we now have the double pleasure of a kid hurtling around the park on a scrambler (two hours of it last night!). Not sure which noise is worse!
  2. Hi curlykaren, dog is on banfield road. Barking like mad now (5am!). Tried noise team but they're off duty after 2:30am so no good.
  3. I would if I knew the address. Hence the post asking if anyone knows it.
  4. Does anyone know who owns the dog that gets left outside to bark every night, in all weathers near Peckham Rye (Nunhead side). It's driving me mad and needs reporting!

    Crow Fodder

Since when did it become acceptable to leave a public park looking like a landfill site? Photo attached of Peckham Rye Common last night with McDonalds wrappers, drinks bottles and all manner of other crow fodder strewn about. Vile critters (those responsible, not the crows).
  6. Not sure it was the old boy - I didn't ask what he looked like. The police are going to pass his details on to the council apparently.
  7. Update. Last night, after two nights on the trot of early morning wailing, I called the police on the fella. They rang me back about 15 minutes later to let me know they'd apprehended someone who's screams matched his description. Hopefully now he's been caught in the act he'll stay away for a bit. Fingers crossed.
  8. The pattern is that the noise starts at 3:30AM on anything up to 4 nights a week and goes on for about an hour. It will usually happen for a night, then stop for a night then happen the next night etc although sometimes there is a gap of a few nights with no rant. In terms of whether or not he's got bare feet I've not seen the chap so cannot comment. I'd be grateful if somebody could post the warden's number. I telephoned the council about it and somebody was supposed to call me back but never did.
  9. Yep, woke me up at 3:30, I now feel like a zombie at work and I couldn't find the wardens number to get him removed. It's so infuriating and unsettling.
  10. I've been tempted to go looking a few times but it's always too late and I can't be bothered to get out of bed. I like the idea of running him out of the park vigilante style though!! Anything for a good night's kip. I've been retiring to the spare room of late to avoid hearing it.
  11. Here's previous post, from August: http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?20,519773,519773#msg-519773 I think 'some local weirdo' sums it up nicely. But I do think something should be done about it if it's causing people grief.
  12. It happens about three or four times a week, always 3AM, and drives me insane - I already posted about it. Very loud, a bit military drill sergeant, a bit horse racing commentator, a bit mad preacher. Didn't hear it last though which is unusual because it pretty much always wakes me up. I've called the council and they've given me the number for the community wardens who (apparently) can remove him if you call them when it's happening.
  13. Does anyone else get rudely awakened at about 4AM by an agitated fellow yelling his lungs out military drill sergeant style on the common? Most unsettling I tell thee.
