  1. Hello, I am looking for a builder with a jackhammer to come and break up a section of concrete in my front garden. If anyone has any recommendations I would be very grateful. Thank you
  2. Hello, Unfortunately I had some wooden French windows installed by a cowboy and they now leak at the bottom. I was wondering if anyone out there knew of anyone who could fix this? All advice would be much appreciated.
  3. Hello, I am looking for someone to make and install four wooden raised beds for my garden. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks,
  4. I am suprised at how many people oppose a council installing pedestrian crossings on a busy road. The world has gone crazy.
  5. Went to lovely house this weekend after seeing positive posts on the web. Have to agree that the couple running the place are lovely but the food is not. I was sat facing the kitchen and saw every item of food we ate being taken out of some packhaging even our roasted pork was taken out of a plastic tub. Not really my idea of a restaurant. Would rather buy the dim sum from the chinese supermarket and steam them myself.
  6. Did anyone ever find out about the Peckham Liberal club?
  7. Hello, Just wanted to share a good news story about dealing with noisy neighbours. For the last year and a half we have been living with the loud music of our neighbours. After trying to get the council to come over with no success I decided to try another path. I looked on the land registry website to find out who owned their property. It happened to be owned by a housing authority which I contacted and explained the situation to. Within a week a mediator had met both myself and my neighbour (she ended up admiting to playing the loud music). She was made to sign a contract stating that she would not play loud music anymore or risk eviction. I am happy to say that she has been completely quiet for the last 6 months. Hope this advice might help others with this kind of issue.
