  1. Hi - are there any roofers available for one day to do a couple of patch up jobs very soon? I?m in SE4. I have a roofer but wait time is 3 weeks. If you are recommending, please only mention if they have some immediate availability. Many thanks Kim
  2. Hi ED Forum I am looking for some part-time work for my 16yo son (17 in a few months). It is so competitive out there but like many, he really deserves an opportunity to get some work experience following the hell of Covid lockdown and missing out. Not being biased here (okay, I am) but he is one of the most kindest and friendliest people you could ever meet, hence why a customer facing role would be ideal (not necessary though). He is always eager to please and do a good job, though he can be a little hard on himself. I really want to encourage good work ethic as he sees me and his father go to work regularly. He is very sociable but isnt one for hanging around on the streets with his mates, he much prefers to get to his destination then back home again but he is then glued to gaming on his PC. Outside of that, he is part of a samba drumming group and plays regular gigs across events in London. He will be doing Business studies at sixth form this September and is still undecided on his direction. He is fantastic with children and I can see him mentoring one day too. When he was in Year 9, he used to look after a young lad, collected him from school, helped him with homework, helped him navigate problems at school, took him out for a kickabout at the park (yes he's a footie fan too). So any parents out there looking for someone trustworthy to wear out their child, he's the one for you! If anyone has any leads at all for something part time midweek or weekends, please do let me know. Shops, offices, cafes etc, anything! You are very welcome to speak to him if you think you might have an opportunity. He will be a complete asset to you, I promise! Thanks for reading, PM me if you'd like to have a chat. Warm wishes Kim
