    Zippos Circus ..

DJKillaQueen has told me that she's reported my previous post because I've called her a liar. Which is a bit rich seeing as she's branded me a racist without a shred of supporting evidence. Aww. Boo hoo, precious.
  3. I think it's a fantastic idea. Care to lead by example?
  4. I'm not really a big fan of Snoozenight, but will they ever recover from this desperate embarressment?

  6. Why not put some cotton wool in your ears.
  7. I could watch all day. This will no-doubt invite outrage from the users SeanMacGabhan and DJKillaQueen, as the objects of humour are two black men.

Er, what on earth are you on about, DJ(Gyspy?)Queen? I never said or even implied that the event was staffed by members of the travelling community! If you'd actually bothered to read my removed post, which I don't think you did in the first place, you'd have seen that in replying to the suggestion that the event was suspect and ran by gypsies, I said that it was very unlikely seeing as the event has council approval and is ran by a legitimate company. That aside, judging by your two gross misrepresentations, I suspect that you didn't read the removed post at all. No, after seeing the accusation that the post was racist, without a thought you immediately jumped on the fashionable bandwagon and let others decide for you. How pathetic. There hasn't been a shred of truth in anything you've accused me of. You're either a victim of your own hasty ignorance, or, as I've continuously maintained, a liar.
  9. This thread's about as funny as a torn arsehole.

So, you've nothing constructive to add, *Bob*? There's a surprise.

    Zippos Circus ..

Er, excuse me, but where did I mention "Roman Gypsies", or more commonly, Roma? I didn't. I briefly mentioned/commented on Irish Travellers, who aren't descended from any drifting Indo-European diaspora. They're ancestors of the landowning clans left homeless by Cromwell's campaigns in Ireland and the Potato famine. They're white, so I don't see how it's racist for a white man to comment on members of his own race. Would you say the same if you heard a black man commenting on the habits of other black men or women? I don't like or agree with many other groups within my [Caucasian] race, either. I despise the greedy banking culture in this country that is predominantly monopolised by white men. And I've written very uncomplimentary opinions on them, too. As well as the Catholic Church. Which, apart from being a seemingly sanctioned pedophile ring, is dominated by white men. So, unless you can prove I commented otherwise, I'll regard you both as manipulative liars. Oh, and if anyone's interested in judging for themselves, I can provide copies of the deleted post that was contained in the administrator's request/warning via email. Though I can understand any concerns that in doing so I may alter the copy to read in my favour. So, perhaps the administrator could re-post the deleted text. Seeing as I've technically been accused of a crime. But, for some inexplicable reason, the evidence has been removed. Furthermore, I also included the details to a leading, active charity that oversees and investigates animal welfare and cruelty in the latter half of my post. For those interested, here it is again.

I am not "wolfie", whoever your little obsession is, and my post that's been removed didn't contain any racism. I don't recognize Irish Travellers as another 'race'. They're white, like me. And if they choose to live outside of the law, then they'll have to put-up with any supposedly derogatory remarks that their suspect way of life incurrs.
  13. I know that the people awarded these phoney qualifications rarely ever trade on them, and that there are far more important things to get worked-up over, but the concept of bypassing all the hard work, trepidation and expense really gets to me when I read in the news that some actor has been awarded one just so that the university can attract some publicity and no-doubt a fat 'donation' from the recipient. Honestly, it really does bring the gravitas of higher learning into disrepute when they dish-out like sweeties what should be the result of three to four years hard work to some grinning no-mark. And what rubs even more salt into the wound is the so called 'reason' behind awarding the celebrity a degree. Nearly always it's because of services to the arts or in some cases business. How do they justify that? Because as far as I can see, the recipient couldn't give two flying f@cks about "services to the arts" because they're more motivated by the very handsome paychecks they will recieve for their efforts. Which, coincidentally, don't usually display much talent. The whole thing just reeks of what I hate most. Insincerity. Anyone you know of have one of these travesties? I bet someone in East Dulwich does!

    Zippos Circus ..

Yes, his posting is rather 'nomadic', isn't it. Though that said, I don't think Zippos is owned or staffed by tinkers. They have an internet site and are a registered company. Though the best way to check if there are any pikeys working amongst a legitimate, travelling fair, would be to check the local duck pond to see if any birds have gone missing, no? And if it turned-out that there were any of the travelling community were on the board of directors, surely they'd call it Gippos, instead? Though for that to happen they'd have to have a majority share, I think. But, I've never heard of any animal cruelty in modern circuses, as I'm sure that animal welfare agencies and charities keep a sharp eye on them. But Zippos is certainly guilty of assaulting my senses with prehistoric eurodance 'choons' on most of the rides. Honestly, Mr Zippo. Every time your show rolls into Crystal Palace park, the first thing I hear, and what I've heard everytime it rolls-up for the past 20 years, is the base line and subsequent, repetitive chorus of 2 Unlimited's 'No Limit'. Perhaps you could see about updating it, eh. Perhaps to coincide with this thread, and to stay firmly rooted in the '90s, you could play Crystal Waters' 'Gypsy Woman' on your rides. Just a thought.
  15. I'm certainly not sad, but I am a snob. And no, you're right. I would never set foot in a market where you can buy four wigs for a tenner. Fill your boots, and bag-for-life.
  16. ???? gets a gold star for remaining loyal and following the trend.
  17. Ch?teauneuf-du-Pape, legalbeagle! You're right. Please accept my humble apologies for staining this curious corner of the internet with my unforgivable oversight. Consider it a thing of the past. Now, let's get down to more pressing matters... Don't assume that I'm tarnishing London as a whole with my brush. Just certain parts of it, such as Elephant and Castle. It's a dump, pure and simple. And tell me, would you send your children to a school in Elephant and Castle? I wouldn't, they'd probably catch something. One last thing. You clearly have a problem with me. That's O.K, not everyone's perfect. But let me tell you now, I find your singling me out as bullying. There are plenty of others who haven't painted a very rosy picture of the area in question. I can only assume that you consider me a popular target. I'm not, and if I encounter any more of your hostility, I shall be writing not only to the owner of this site, but my MP aswell. I hope that we can draw a line under this and agree that I'm right. Now, let's let everyone return to the subject at hand and not distract the course of this thread.
  18. I'm equally sure the scruffy vagabonds of Elephant and Castle won't miss my presence. As I won't theirs. If anything, it would take alot of time and money to remove the smell they'd leave behind. Honestly, I can even feel myself beginning to wretch at the very thought of it.
  19. Yes, I've popped my head round the section you're sarcastically alluding to. I also happen to agree. As it seems to move at a glacial pace. Blimey, Huncamunca. Take a breath. Yes, you're right. It does live-up to all the things you've described. It's a controlling cult that decieves, controls and brainwashes the naive and vulnerable. But its real agenda seems to be accomodated by a culture of misplaced faith and the authorities turning a blind eye because in the past it's served its purpose as a tool that controls society with the threat of eternal judgement at the hands of someone the masses have been fooled into believing exists. How sad.
  20. Now look here. I'm not trying to pick a fight. I'm simply saying that I refuse to grieve for people that I've never met. If I've learnt anything from this thread, it's that mourning the loss of people that mean nothing to you is fashionable, so as not to be seen as insensitive to people you've never met. Tell me, did you mourn the loss of live after the bus crash in the Philipines? Do you hold a candle for the Holocaust survivors? I doubt it. Perhaps in future you should try not following the dishonest, insincere liberal trend, ????. Because from what I've seen so far, it suggests you're a very weak individual.
  21. I'm sorry, cate. But I agree with some of the less complimentary observations. Elephant and Castle is a den of villainy and filth that's populated by vagrants, junkies and art students looking for an edgy address. I'm sorry, but however hard you try, you simply can't polish that turd. I'd rather listen to my dad rap than grace the shopping/mugging centre with my presence.
  22. Last night I was having a drink with a friend who works as an accountant for the beancounters KPMG. During the course of the conversation, he let me in on quite an interesting story that has been common knowledge in the higher echelons of the Roman Catholic church for some time now. Two years ago, he and his team were contracted to do some audit work for the Vatican; which at the time was trying to promote a more transparent image of accountability concerning church finances. About halfway through the audit, a rather suspect donor kept appearing. This donor was conspicuous in that it was a subsiduary of the arms manufacturer EADS. The firm that build, amongst other things, the Eurofighter Typhoon fighter jet. This was brought to the attention of some of the Vatican representatives assigned to assist the auditors. They said that they'd look into the matter, but it seemed that the message wasn't passed on to their superiors. Now, this does rather beg the question: is the Roman Catholic church, by extension, ignoring the fifth commandment that dictates, "Thou shalt not kill"? And surely, by accepting donations from an organisation that is responsible for the manufacture and supply of instruments of death, does that make them complicit in any bloodshed caused by the weapons that provide funds to the Catholic Church? So, naive ignorance or accessories to murder?
  23. Yes, Emerson. But only up to a certain point. Like everyone else, I watch whatever misery is unfolding, feel a sense of empathy for my fellow, suffering humans. Then let it fade into the background; safe in the knowledge that another disaster will ocurr soon, distracting the majority from the present suffering. I'm sorry if that comes across as unkind. It's just that in this media saturated age, I've grown rather numb to the suffering I see on the news.
