I can see there are some comments regarding charity collectors or chuggers outside Somerfield on Lordship Lane. I'd just like to say on the positive side, I met a lovely chap collecting on behalf of Marie Curie Cancer Care today. Unfortunately, I didn't catch the gentleman's name, but he was so polite and charming. Not to mention the fact he is 86 years of age and was out in the snow and freezing weather. He may be known already to many of you, but I have nothing but admiration for this chap, as i've seen him collecting many times over the years.
