  1. This is probably a long shot, but I'm looking for information on Richie and Paddy Tarrant, who were Irish musicians who recorded a series of 78s with Frank Lee's Tara Ceilidh Band in the early 1930. The Tarrant brothers (fiddlers I believe) were born in East Dulwich in 1908 and 1910 respectively, were the nephews of Dinny Tarrant, a fiddle player from Ballydesmond (Kingwilliamstown), Co. Kerry. I'm a collector of old Irish Traditional Music on 78s, as well as trad musician myself, and have many records of Frank Lee's band. I was amazed got find out that two of the key players were from East Dulwich. As I say, it's probably a long shot, but perhaps there are family members or others still living here who know them? If so I'd love to find out more about them. Thanks.
