  1. I would like to recommend Paul from The Art of Cast (http://artofcast.co.uk) 020 8694 1097, [email protected]. He has just installed a railing for my new Karina Stairs from Fontanot. They made a new metal gate and side railing for me about 6 years ago and other bits of metal work. Their prices are reasonable.
  2. Our local community cafe in Telegraph Hill SE4 is looking for a chef. I hope you will not mind putting the advert here as it could help somebody to get a job and hell the cafe. 3. I used Bruce Berry as the way he described how he was going to install the digital and FM aerial to quite a few rooms in our house was much cleaner than anybody else who had quoted for us. He suggested what we wanted to hear like having cabling running down in the cellar and going up to the reception rooms from below so that no cabling would be visible inside the rooms. Well when he came to do the job he had forgotten all that he said he was going to do and the type of cabling he was going to use. I had to do part of the job myself (the cabling in the cellar going up to replace the previous cabling of the analogue cables). The outside cabling is not fixed on the roof and is quite visible on the outside when it was going to run along side the guttering. Some cables are put together with tape on the outside as running too short. We have a mixture of black and brown cables. Time wise both my husband and I became very involved when we realised nothing was going to plan. He forgot all he said. We expected the job to take one day. It lasted almost a week. I had to go and buy missing parts to try to speed up the job. The good side is that all is working fine and he did accept the notes I took down when he first came. He charged more than he quoted for as he said he forgot to include some items but that was not too much. Still I would recommend him for simple jobs. For a bit more complex jobs you need to double check when he starts that he remembers how he agreed to do the job and check that he is doing it.
  4. Would you have his contact number I cannot find it on the site. I have problems with Freeview reception and believe I could do with an external aerial. I can see http://www.stevelarkins.freeuk.com/london-aerial.htm. I will make a separate announcement about that. Thanks Dom
