I get my van weighed when I go to the tip at Devon st (off old Ken road). So they should be happy to weigh your car if you ask nicely!

We lived in a basement flat parallel to you on east dulwich road and had a few floods. We put it down to high water table and even with tanking put in we'd get the occasional flood, usually after heavy rain. That and the fact that there is an ancient river bed right underneath this location- sadly not much I think you can do. The tanking definitely helped but it's not 100% resistant.

Peckham Rye...should I move there?!
jonny vantastic replied to j5nn's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
We moved from brixton (ferndale road) to east dulwich 3 years ago; we moved because we felt it was time to wind down from going out every night, which brixton and clapham offer up easily, and plant some roots and (dare I say it), settle down. Which of course is a nonsense and what Peckham (and by that what I really mean is lordship lane east dulwich) offers is a lively nightlife should we want it but also decent shops and vast open green spaces (we have a dog). We started in east dulwich but bought recently in Peckham- cross the invisible line and you get more bricks and mortar for your pound Welcome!
