  1. Also had an amazing time there on Friday. Such a friendly crowd. Everyone up for a party after all the lockdowns. #neverstopraving
  2. Another glowing recommendation for Gary. Having suffered considerable seasonable movement in our house in recent years it was time to get the cracks repaired. Gary was honest and knowledgeable in his recommendations, clearly explaining the risks/rewards in doing a ?quick fix? vs addressing the matter properly. He worked with respect to the house, covering all furniture Ahmed keeping the house as clean as possible despite the considerable amount of dust such a job creates. He raked out the cracks, sealed, bonded/rendered, repainted. Really happy with the work done and wouldn?t hesitate to use him again & thus recommend to others.
  3. Had a couple of PM?s regarding this, but can anyone else recommend someone? Thanks.
  4. Need someone experienced with a professional, attention-to-detail approach to do high-quality repairs to a significant number of cracks in our house. Just for clarity this is merely a rescue job (albeit a relatively large one, to be done well), and not a full-decorating job. Please be forthcoming with recommendations. Thanks.
  5. Would like to get 3 round to quote for some work that needs doing. Genuine recommendations only please... 🤔🙄
  6. This is happening on Wednesday: http://moderngov.southwark.gov.uk/ieListDocuments.aspx?CId=176&MId=6062&Ver=4 I can?t go unfortunately but would very much appreciate feedback on the Royal Mail content from those who can attend.
  7. Not received post now for 4 days, whereas before the closure deliveries were reliably daily. Amy idea of a/the email address to contact Royal Mail to flag a concern? The website is unsurprisingly unhelpful. Thanks.

  9. Any idea where I can then done in/around ED, please? Thanks.
  10. Having received a quote from Russell a few weeks ago and susbsequently requested a couple of minor amendments, my ability to communicate with him since has been frustratingly non-existent. No response to email, calls or texts. Now I know he?s a busy man - I?ve used him many times in the past - but this has reached a point of unprofessionalism, whilst the issues he?s quoted for and I want to proceed with getting sorted have subsequently worsened. Does anyone have an alternative way of contacting him other than his mobile and email address? Thanks.
  11. You?ll quickly adapt. We ?compromised? 7 years ago when we opted for a larger house towards the top of Underhill, rather than nearer LL. Never looked back. It?s quieter, easier to park, closer to the Rye, house & garden bigger, etc etc, and the adjustment to an additional 10 min commute happened seamlessly. Plus LL is merely 5 mins on the bus or a 15 min stroll. 12. A note to say thanks to Nigel AKA Gardenman. His knowledge of tending to wisteria is clearly excellent and he did a fantastic job of giving it a much needed cutting back and reattaching it to the wall of the house. Highly recommended! 13. We recently used Hillary's. From experience I'd say it's worth paying the extra for the far more personalised service.
  14. We have a large & well established Wisteria on the back of our house, and the frame to which it is attached is old, has come away from the wall, and needs replacing. It's all currently being held up by the sky dish/bracket(!). See attached pics. Looking for someone to help me or a duo to take ownership of sorting it out asap. Recommendations and direct contact by garden/landscape companies welcome. Thanks in advance.
  15. Having been let down yet again by my latest cleaning company, I'm seeking an energetic, well qualified and attention-to-detail focussed cleaner for our large Victorian house in SE22. 6 hours every fortnight. Looking for someone to start this week off possible, if not then early next week. Public liability insurance preferred. If this sounds like what you/your company can provide, please PM me with details, references, etc. No time wasters please. Thanks.
