I rather like 'chains' coming to East Dulwich (Lounged)

Lordship lane book shop is great inside. Shame about their front. Smarten up! -
Who in ED is happy to spend ?4.50 on a loaf of bread?

I joined the gym last month and love it! I was not a gym goer but needed to be and I am trying to get addicted!! The space, equipment, location are great. The staff are really friendly, highly qualified physiotherapists who know your name / encourage you and give you a proper physical. The classes are good you can drop in at the moment but always safer to book (also makes you go!). Its a family run gym / business and if successful in phase two they hope to do up the basement and add sauna/steam and perhaps a swim pool. Full membership works out less than ?20 per week and you only have to give one months notice if you wish to cancel. I am definitely spending ?20 less a week in the pub!! Importantly I have the sense that I can help shape the gym by giving feed back / suggestions i.e. we wanted yoga classes so they have set them up. I guess I'll see you all there in Jan ;-)

No chains! Independent shops only! If we want chain restaurants Dulwich Village is only round the corner!
