A day of Musical Activities by Spectrum Ensemble London as part of the Crystal Palace Overground Festival.Sunday June 28th at St.John the Evangelist Upper Norwood, SE19 2RX. 2 concerts at 1.00 and 7.30 with music by Mozart, Ravel, Debussy, Schulhoff, Mahler, Rachmaninoff, Holst, Sibelius, Shostakovich, Gershwin and Nina Simone.   3. New Impressions Music lovers are invited to experience a distinctive musical experience on Saturday 18th April from the new and innovative chamber group Spectrum Ensemble London. Be prepared to experience familiar and much loved chamber works arranged for an unusual collection of instruments: two flutes, four clarinets, and two bassoons, in a programme of Ravel, Debussy, Mozart, Rachmaninoff, Massenet, and Schulhoff, all originally written for solo piano, piano and orchestra or string quartet. The concert will take place at St.Bartholomew?s Church, Sydenham and will start at 7.30. The ticket prices are ?12, ?8 concession and under 16?s free. Fiona Bryan, a local resident, founded the group in 2013, they gave their first performance at the Crystal Palace Overground Festival in june of the that year and will appear again this year with a whole day of activities- workshops, classes, 2 concerts and an art exhibition.
