  1. Lost on the school run at about 8.20am this morning.Daughter is distraught. I was told by my builder that he saw it on the wall (he didn't realise it was hers) but it's no longer there. If you've taken her in please get in touch, it will save me another trip to town! Thank you
  2. Oh NCK19 my daughter is going to love you forever! It's her Elsa doll which she dropped from her buggy after her sisters swimming lesson. Thank you so, so much for picking her up. I sent my husband out in search of her earlier, so glad you took her in!! I was just about to place a lost post when I saw your post, I love this forum! Will pm you re: collection. Again......thank you!!! Vix
  3. It fell out of our buggy at about 1:50pm today. Small ASOS parcel, on its way to the post office for a return. Thank you so much.
  4. I would also like to wholeheartedly recommend Margaret, she did an amazing job on my hair after it was left in a bit of a state by a recent visit to a hairdressers. She did a great cut at a great price and gave me some really good advice on how to treat the damage that had been done. 07928079233
  5. I would like to add my recommendation for Matt at dulwichlogs. We've used dulwichlogs twice now and the service is brilliant, completely hassle free. The logs are the best and the firelighters are great and all beautifully presented, we manage to get three beautiful fires from one bag. Love, love, love...I'll be using you guys all winter!
  6. Thank you so much everyone. It seems there is a glitch with the pager line but the number I have is the right one so please don't panic if you need to call it! I had called the office earlier today and they've now got back to me and are onto the pager people. I love this forum, thank you xx
  7. Hi all, I've been given the wrong pager number in my notes for Oakwood 6 and was wondering whether anyone had it?? Can't get hold of them via the office number and my waters broke in the night so hoping the lovely EDF will save me a trip to the hospital! Thank you x
  8. We've lost one of our daughters Ugg boot in a size 7 somewhere between Goose Green park and Friern Road. Would be great to hear from you if you've spotted it. She has one very cold foot! Thanks x
  9. Not strictly family discussion (sorry administrator) but I am hoping one of the lovely people here might have a short wedding veil I could borrow for a day. I am getting married in Sept and have a hair and make-up trial this Weds morning, I am going to wear a veil at the wedding but haven't bought it yet and could do with seeing it fitted with the hairdo. I would need it Weds morning for a matter of hours and would take good care of it! Have also posted in the wanted section (sorry again admin!) Thanks!
  10. Oh...I thought it was the on the 4th too?!?!? I imagine this is now not happening?
  11. My little one, now 11 months, has never been good in the car either, actually that's putting it mildly.... she hates it! I dread all car journeys and need to be mentally and physically prepared to even consider doing a trip longer than 10 minutes. I think I have tried almost everything.... her favourite toys, food, books, radio, baby jake... but nothing stops her from crying. I have often wondered if she suffers from motion sickness too, but I doubt it as on occasions, when her crying has become too much, I have taken her out of her chair and she calms within seconds. She doesn't like her pram much either and she never liked her baby swing or jumperoo, so I think her issue is that she doesn't like to be restrained. She has always been a very active, mobile baby and would much rather be free to investigate her surroundings than tied in to a chair. I wish I could say she's got better with age, but she hasn't :(. I'm just hoping that one day we'll get in the car and she will either fall asleep or just sit there happy, without a tear in sight.....I can but dream!! I'm sorry that this post isn't at all helpful Lucy, but I wanted to let you know that you're not alone and alike you, if anyone has a magical solution...please help!!! Good luck
  12. Great idea, I'm at a wedding on the 3rd but could do the 4th....??? I'm bi-lingual but I tend to speak English to my little one most of the time, which I could kick myself for! Partner would be interested in picking up some Spanish too and I really want baby to grow up speaking both languages, as I did. I'm happy to meet anywhere, middle ground sounds perfect :)
  13. Thanks Hazelnunhead! Will get in touch with colour box nursery this week and post back on this thread, thank you! I'd be really interested in helping set up/attending a class. A pub meet up would be great MoniqueBello and I would definitely attend one of your rhyme groups. The Herne, The Mag or The Gardens Cafe are all good places to meet up with babies too.
  14. Hi arworld, Apologies for hijacking your post but I would also be very interested in attending and finding out any information anyone may have on Spanish toddler groups. I'm half spanish and although my little one is only turning 1 in March I'm interested in starting her up as soon as possible! :)
