  1. Could be a Job for Dan Maitland +44 7960 288053 https://eazypeazymusic.com
  2. Free entry, likely to be a lot of fun. Playing songs by Fleetwood Mac, Pretenders, Jackson Browne, Eagles and loads more. Peckham Ryders on Instagram Cheers! IMG_2509.MOV
  3. Thanks all, though no joy in getting help overnight from any service - I had to call the RSPCA at 7am. Luckily, the fox survived the ordeal. Now off to Essex with the RSPCA for some r 'n' r.
  4. Can anyone advise on who can help? The poor creature seems to be stuck fast at the end of the alley at the bottom of Landells Rd. I tried the RSPCA, went to a voicemail suggesting local vets?
  5. David came over and inspected our dilapidated flat roof very quickly, and gave us a detailed quote within 24 hours. He was able to book us in quickly, and organised the scaffolding straight away. He and Patrick turned up nice and early and worked quickly through the day to get the whole job done, with no mess and no fuss. They take real pride in their work and did a proper professional job, with no hidden costs, and a 10 year guarantee. The roof now looks great, so a strong recommendation from me too.
  6. Another recommendation for Niko, he?s been resolving tricky plumbing problems for me and my neighbour for many years now, most recently diagnosing and fixing a tricky blockage, having come over within an hour of a call. He also recently fixed a fairly major leak, replacing some dodgy pipework. Great number to have in your phone.
  7. I recommend Jon Dickinson in Crystal Palace https://www.facebook.com/pages/category/Musical-Instrument-Store/Jon-Dickinson-Instrument-Repair-1501093780203995/
  8. There was a dead fox outside my back door yesterday, unpleasant for all concerned. It was the result of a long and noisy fight between two foxes at around 1am.
  9. Yes, had the same question about Portuguese on Underhill a few days ago, very odd.
  10. Hi there We have the same set-up, 2 flats, share of freehold, and we have one lot of buildings insurance - just coming up for renewal in fact. We switched last year to Adler insurance, who seem quite reasonable. Generally I think you need more specialist insurers for this, as it is landlord's insurance, insuring 'blocks of flats' - even if there are only 2 flats. Good luck
  11. I contacted Southwark Council and requested they remove it, a neighbour told me they did this one day, though I didn't see them take it.
  12. Someone pushed a scooter up an access road near the Landells/Underhill junction and set it alight late on Sunday night. A fence panel on one side of the access road caught fire too, fortunately the fire brigade turned up quickly and put it out before the whole fence went up - it could have been a much nastier incident. Can anyone advise on who might remove the debris? Not sure who owns the access road, which complicates things. I've reported it to Southwark Council as an abandoned vehicle, and also reported it to the police. Thanks
  13. Thanks Singalto will check that today. Thanks Ilonam, I had a good search around Google, a few possibles (Sarah Cresswell without Rosej out there, but no definites locally that I could find.
  14. Just had a Southwark council letter addressed to this person (unknown to me) at my SE22 address (where I've lived for nearly 20 years). Bit concerned about identity theft/fraud, or could just be a simple error. Does anyone know a Sarah Rose Cresswell? I've told the council, and they said they would write to her to confirm she doesn't live here - which doesn't give me much confidence - where are they going to send the letter.... Thanks
