Hi all, This afternoon, whilst riding my bike, just before 3pm at the junction of Lordship Lane and Crystal Palace road, I was the victim of an attempted mugging by two boys on bikes. After shouting at me to get off my bike, one of them came up beside me and attempted to steer me off the road. Thankfully the one shouting came off his bike and I managed to mount the kerb and get away. Not sure what would have happened if he?d managed to stay on his bike. Please everyone be aware of your surroundings. Unsure as to why I was set on, maybe just opportunists. Big thank you to the kind man at the bus stop who stayed with me whilst I called the police. As far as I'm aware Goose Green have now changed to doing full days instead of having a morning group and an afternoon group. I think this helps prepare them slightly more for the transition into reception class. I know a few kids who have been to GG and both them and their parents have been really happy.

I can also recommend Gloria. She is very professional, requesting proof of jabs etc, and our cat was always happy to go back.

Hi all, I am holding a fundraising evening at the EDT on Saturday 28th March in aid of Children with Cancer UK, the charity for whom I will be running the London marathon for. I have organised a raffle and an auction and am after kind folk to donate their time and skills to the cause as a raffle prize or as a lot in the auction. Hi all, I am running the London marathon in April and to raise funds for my charity, Children with Cancer UK, I am organising an Auction of Promises. I have already approached lots of businesses in the ED area and so far have kindly been donated a number of goods and services from a bike service, a free manicure, a morning of handyman time, free babysitting just amongst some. Obviously I would like to raise as much money as possible and am after any other kind souls who would be willing to contribute a service or trade. For example, a morning of gardening, decorating, tiling, plumbing, window cleaning etc. There will be a summary of the evening on this site so free advertising for everyone who contributes to the evening. Hi all, I'm running the London marathon next year and to help me reach my target I am organising an Auction of Promises. Instead of contacting traders/businesses separately I thought I'd kill too many birds to mention with one stone. I am after any kind souls who would consider donating a skill/service. Hi. I'm due to have our first baby in early february and have been doing a bit of reading up on routines. There are a couple of reasons why baby may not be sleeping for longer during the night. The 22.30 is the feed that should be able to get them through to about 0300-0330. If baby stays on long enough to get to the hind milk which has more fat and nutritional value they should be able to go a bit longer inbetween feeds. Another reason could be that baby is sleeping for too long during the day resulting in the 2 hour wakes during the night. There is a Contented Little Baby book by Gina Ford which has got some good routines in. Hope this helps.
