  1. Sounds like a wierd question but do you know if this farmers Market sells ostrich burgers? I'm on a mission to lose weight in the New Year and ostrich has less fat than fish and tastes amazing - nicer than a regular beef burger and HEALTHY!!! - result! I used to eat them all the time when I lived in Nottingham as there was a Market every 3rd weekend of the month. The closest I've been able to find is Borough Market. It would be great to have something more local.
  2. The Candyman brings back memories. Ha. They don't make good scary movies like that anymore. Carry was also one of my faves along with The Omen Trilogy (although 1 & 2 were much better than the last one. But I needed to finish the series).
  3. There's a post up about someone possibly intoducing a cinema. I'm fairly new to ED and love my movies and this person was suggesting a private hire cinema where you can bring your own drinks. Sounds really interesting
  4. I think this is a great idea. I love my movies and having a relaxed setting to watch them with friends will be a great addition to ED. I agree with the other posts that 20 people may be too much to gather on a regular basis but if you can make it into a multiple purpose venue for kids parties or functions then it would be the best of both worlds. You say we can bring our own drink, would we have to bring food as well or would that be provided? If food is provided I think ?12-?15 per head is reasonable. If only snacks then ?5-?8.
  5. I don't quite know how to respond to that Fuschia. I saw the add and got some information from the hamlets health club listing. I've seen your threads on their listing. Clearly you've had a bad experience. All I want to do is lose a bit of Christmas weight. I don't think it is either necessary or appropriate to send messages like that to me.
  6. Hamlets Health Club is running free weight loss events for new members of the gym. There's a post about it called Lose Your Spare Tyre. You get one to one coaching and support about your nutrition and a 12 week weight loss class. (you can also win cash prizes in the weight loss class for losing the most) They also have loads of classes in the gym like pilates, spinning and even some martial arts. Sounds good to keep up the motivation in the New Year
