  1. A strapping and robust plant, looks like a euphorbia but I don't think it is. Jay
  2. I live in the 90s on East Dulwich Grove, I do not know how he has done it but Toby the tortoise has gone missing from the house/garden, I thought he was in the house but he may have wandered through the kitchen door and into the garden. Gone for about a week now. We have raised him since he was no bigger than a 50p, he is now about 6 inches/ 30cm. Please if you find him contact me here. Jayne
  3. That is a real shame, they are nice there. I walk past my local shop as I would rather spend my money with them.
  4. Mine was crap last night happens at least twice a week, I am investigating alternatives today.
  5. Are you sure they're not wobbles? Aaahhhh that'd be lovely if they were.
  6. I cannot imagine being terrified of a cat. I think you definitely need a picture of the cat on here, so you can identify it and possibly speak to the owners. I don't let my cats out at night and have never had them crapping in the house mine are however used to being out during the day 8-6, occasionally they want to nip out. Routine is good. Paper collar is a good idea . One of may cats returned modelling a very fetching bandanna with a message on it. Hope you sort out soon, would be amazing if it were someone's missing cat.
  7. You just have to be organised and book in advance, I like it there.
  8. Yep Peckham cheap and sticky. Brixton is lovely, groovy bar I've enjoyed and been a patron for at least 30 yrs but if there's to be one in ED I'm in yay.
  9. There will always be the odd dog running wild, is there something you could carry to make you feel safer? I regularly go to parks, and occasionally get a friendly dog come up to me. I used to be a bit nervous of dogs, kept forcing myself to stroke and chat to owners, it helped. good luck.
  10. Thank you for all the sensible and informative replies I really appreciate that some of you have taken the time in your day to help and offer advice. Spoke to him over the weekend, apparently they are seeking permission now- the story has changed. I have no objections to people doing improvements etc I just want there to be an honest communication about it. Jay
  11. There was a crash Saturday night on the zebra crossing outside the hospital no pedestrians involved just a driver who lost concentration for a few moments and took out one side of the railings. I am regularly shocked by some of the antics of drivers on this stretch of the road and have lost count of the amount of times people have not respected the zebra when I've been crossing mainly due to two reasons- speeding and overtaking buses at the stop.
  12. Many thanks everyone, I will phone tomorrow. I have a feeling they are going to do a whacking great extension. Will post a report in a few days.
  13. The link doesn't seem to be working. There is no wall at the moment.
