  1. I'm creating a memory book about a friend who passed away a few years ago for her children.   It is going to include a collection of photos from different phases of my friends life as well as some written anecdotes, stories etc to be copied and scanned in.  (Then printed for the children)

Looking for a website e..g Photobox that might do something like this, that is easy to use?

Appreciate any leads or advice on what websites / apps are good to use.

  2. My teen likes to do the Escape Rooms .

Southbank always good for walk down, buskers, Tate, Globe etc. You can also go up the Oxo tower if you are feeling rich, have a cocktail (or mocktail) and watch the sun set over the Thames.

Old Vic has Sylvia playing if you feel like some theatre, or go and see the movie Rye lane at Peckham Plex for a good overview of our neighbourhood.

Shoreditch / Brick Lane - easy to get to and lots of shopping and browsing options. I always love the flower market as well.

Take the boat as well on the Thames - its a lovely way to see London as well.

Greenwich a good option for something nearer - loads to do there

  3. I left neighbourhood vets after total over charging of medicine (conjunctivitis in one eye for my cat came to over £100). No issue with their actual vets and the charges for that (that is transparent) , but it seems that everything after that is built in.

So many little extras done all charged which add up. Many medicines were opened as they gave some drops etc to my cat, with no openness about the cost of these medicines.

I googled prices of the medicines they had given me and they were hugely inflated from what I found on websites - I wrote to them expressing this (with pictures of medicines and prices) and got offered £10 of my next visit!! I was also asked why I didn't claim on insurance - I did have insurance (but had an excess) but it seems that they rely on overcharging due to insurance paying. I have not gone back after this as felt very ripped off.

  4. I can highly recommend Nadia who has helped me plant a tree, bushes and create multiple beautiful pots for my decked area.

In the last few months she has helped me transform my garden. Nadia has an immense knowledge of plants and has really helped me choose plants as well as helping me tidy up a rather overgrown back part of the garden.

  5. It seems a pity that the school is not taking the responsibility to make sure clothes don't go to waste (landfill) and arnt used especially if good quality - perhaps the school committee could press the school to allow old stock to be used. in a time of fast fashion, it would be a good way for the school to led on this (rather than make it someone else's problem)

I do appreciate that you are trying to solve a problem

  6. Does anyone have a recommendation for a tutor who could help my daughter with music theory - she is in Year 9 (secondary school)

She is taking music as a GSCE subject, her instrument is ?voice? so she is lacking some of the knowledge around musical theory and could do with some extra support in this area.

    Happy to do online tutoring.
