Dear neighbours, I'm trying to make our communal garden habitual: I'm in the lookout for someone with a truck who could get rid of a big pile of garden waste for a reasonable price?

Its great to have a buy/sell forum for the area and I've lost count on how many times I've bargained in that section. The only issue is some sellers and buyers.. The sellers who sells the things to someone else even though you both had agreed the sale and you had just gone through a small hell finding transportation for your new big bargain (but fixed it!) or the buyers that never shows up! The last issue even more frustrating when staying in an afternoon/morning in the wait for someone to pick up something you're giving away FOR FREE who in the end doesn't show up! GRRRRRR!! Thanks for listening, it already feels much better ;)

I asked a teacher there what happened with the bulge class.. and he answered it proved to be a bigger project than people initially expected. I think he mentioned a new kitchen is due to be built and because of the location and construction of the school, it would be a massive project to add new classroom(s). It would be no way to finish all the work until September and it would be extremely disrupting to relocate the affected children in the meantime the work proceeds. I don't blame them for having second thoughts but they could've thought of this from the start?

My child is at that nursery and sadly I agree with many of the above comments. I have quite a few negative things to say (pm me if interested) and I'm happy my child will be leaving in September because of school. It didn't used to be this bad, sure the nursery have always been in a need of an interior update but the majority of the staff used to be enthusiastic, friendly and happy to see the parents and the children. This is not the case anymore (with a very few exceptions). I have never felt that mini is unsafe there though. The reason mini is still there is because its only once a week, mini is soon starting school, has made close friends there and also I honestly can't be bothered going through the same hassle I experience when looking around for nurseries in the past (I don't know how many viewing I've been to), waiting lists for the good ones etc etc etc...

I can strongly recommend Dulwich Nursery! We use that nursery. The staff is always friendly and flexible, the children all look happy, they seem to do quite a lot of fun activities, the food is freshly made on site and is healthy, good opening hours. They have recently done many changes for the better. The only thing I wish they did more was outings! Don't think they have ever been away to the park etc actually. But maybe that's not a common thing for nurseries..? I don't have much to compare with to be hounest. A good thing is that they now have changed the curriculum so there's no need to go through the process of finding a pre-school! So the nursery is great even for older toddlers. The only issue is that the waiting list is massive.. So if you haven't already signed up a year ago I think it will be hard to get a slot already for Autumn. I had forgot that I even sent in an application when they contacted me 1,5 years later!
