  2. Was slouched outside the deli on Lordship Lane, insouciantly eating a Freddo, not realising that shortarse I was standing next to beautiful heron supermodel Erin O'Connor. Whoops.
  3. If that train irritates you, just trot up to Denmark Hill, where you can get a more regular and varied service.
  4. We'd do it! We've just moved here so wouldn't mind getting people drunk and feeding them tasty food.
  5. Boot the drivers out, jump in the front seat then drive it to London Bridge to the Back of the Future theme tune.
  6. I saw two foxes playing tonight in the moonlight. I made the international kissy, "Hello!" noise and they looked up! They were very fluffy for foxes. The cats slept on, totally oblivious.
  7. I would marry James Randi if he wasn't in his eighties and gay. Have any of you been watching Penn and Teller's Bullshit? They've done fantastic ones on alternative medicine and psychics- have a look for it!
  8. The Divine Comedy and the Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band mostly these days... Tonight we Fly by the Divine Comedy. Ah, tis loveliness.
  9. Will be avoiding them, thank you. I will give the DMC a try. I have a long term health condition so I need a good GP, I feel vaguely despairing at what's on offer! I've gotten in touch with a few so far but don't fall within their catchment area.
  10. I need to register with a GP and I have no idea what my options are. Does anyone else live on the DKH estate and where are you registered if so? I'm on Quorn Road and I desperately don't want to register with Melbourne Grove, I know how awful it is. Thanks in advance if anyone can help.
  11. Thank you, everyone! For now I'm bidding on fold up bikes on eBay... ellabrunswick Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Hello Brain Opera! > > Welcome to the lovely East Dulwich estate - it IS > lovely, but don't lock your bike to the railings > on the ground floor and expect to find it there in > the morning. I won't be able to come along this time but I'll PM you, let me know when the next one is! I can't find any info about the landscaping, could you tell me more?
  12. I'm moving to Quorn Road, on the Dog Kennel Hill estate (which for some reason, I've found so far people are snobby about. My flat is lovely! The block I live in is clean and lovely too) and I have no idea where to put my bike. I'm 4ft 11" so my dragging it up and down the steps every day would be dangerous as it would be hilarious. I know if I drag it up I'll end up just leaving it there to collect dust. Could I lock it outside the station, knowing it'll probably get nicked and risking it? Or are there any bike storage facilities around that area? Thanks for any help!
